Wonder how much that would cost to fly that journey? . In 1985/86 I worked at building the hotel on St Martin's Isles of Scilly. I couldn't get a boat to st Martin's from st Mary's as I missed the boat and no one was going to pick me up . I walked to the airport as my boss said get the helicopter. When I got to the airport they were flying the cement over . Bagged cement was put in a big net . The pilot said he would land to let me get in . He wasn't too happy as he said he had to make another journey as he didn't want to be overloaded. I only weighed eight stone in those days as all I did in those days was work and sleep .I miss the islands and those days .

Same you missed out alot of the goast path from Exmouth, been nice to see from, orcombe point, sandy bay, budleigh salterton, on the way, , i love all this coast path to Weymouth, be nice if you have got all the coast path to Weymouth, i chill out and watch it all now, cheers for doing this!

Looks like: Starting with Beardown Hill on right and Beardown Tors on left. Up West Dart River (and Devonport Leat too technically at first)... Only to Brown's House ruin. Then across the East Dart (specifically the W/M shaped bit with the Tinners Hut) towards Fernworthy Forest (Flying over Sittaford Tor and Whitehorse Leat). Up the North Teign River (from Long Ridge by Fernworthy) Then to Cosdon Hill/Beacon (crossing various features I can't be arsed to type out because my comment is too long already).

Looks like a great area to go flying in. Been over to Lundy yet?
