The video was sped up to give you an idea of the island, I was not going that fast. You are unable to speed in the buggies as there are island speed limits enforced on the buggies. When you drive into the merina village area for example the buggy automatically slows down and you cannot go any faster.

TUI lounge is included only if you are flying on a TUI holiday - we were flying on a P&O holiday, so P&O charter the aircraft and you dont get lounge access...

That is correct on some of the routes now, it wasn't at the time of uploading and filming this.

I'm not sure i'd quite say it like that - there aren't many other ways to get holidays for near nothing (subject to spend)

Aha so to a point the other comment 'any aircraft will be fine in business class' is kind of true. Each one has its own benefits. The bed on the A350 is comfier, and having the fixed foot stool rather than the sliding out ottoman on the A380 means you can get your feet into a really comfortable position when seated. If you're traveling with friends and you want to talk, the A380 is just so quiet it's lovely. It really is the king of the skies. I'd absolutely book it if you've never been on it. It's also super smooth through turbulence. I'd probably book the A350 though. The newer design of the cabin really shows.

I'd try both! in fact, when we go to austalia again in April, we're also trying the 777 with Singapore, just to say we've tried all 3 (but also becuase the flight time, that time, on the 777 works out better)

Hi, from my understanding yes. If you look on Singapore Air Website, you can actually see a seating map for all of the aircraft types they have :)

Totally agree. We gave it a go, but it wasn’t worth it really. The only benefit is unlike trying to book a redemption flight where you’re limited on availability and really need to be booking 350 days in advance, you can do this at any point… though it can only be used at the deposit stage and not for your final payment.

I was a little surprised about the size, but, it was perfectly laid out - i would say though that by the end we did end up with things dotted everywhere. If the Flight Case/Drinks Cabinet was instead some form of useful storage that would have been beneficial.

Was the rock royalty lounge free drinks all day? Additionally was this for rock royalty bed and breakfast guests too? Great video!

@@amymckenny7205 hello! It wasn’t free drinks all day, only when the rock royalty lounge was open- in the morning, for afternoon tea and then before dinner. Breakfast in the rock royalty lounge is available for all rock royalty guests, you don’t need to be on a bed and breakfast or all inclusive package to access this. I hope this helps! Hi, sorry we didn’t have a car this time so we didn’t go into the car park. I would be surprised if that wasn’t fixed as the hotel was very well maintained. I hope this helps!

The beach house is good, we never went to it on Iona but we have on Britannia. Taste 360 is good, there are three outlets which serve different food but personally we aren't huge fans of buffet style, which although not the same is similar to a buffet.

The last time we were on Iona was in April 2022 when the prices were the same as those published. We are on Arvia in November 2025 and have no immediate plans to take another P&O Cruise inbetween so i can't comment on the price changes unfortunately... though it wouldn't surprise me if they were higher now.

Having flown with a reasonably short space of time between the two, i would say that the IFE is better on BA, despite the fleet being older. In terms of the cost, from memory it was around £350 each more expensive for Premium Economy.

@@WorldlyWondering LOL. Good review BTW. We were disappointed with BA Premium last year. The staff were terrible, uninterested in Premium passengers, only interested in the First Class passengers. TUI have been much better when we have used them. Cheaper as well.

Hi - thats correct if you aren't on a chartered TUI flight. If you are then you don't. It's a bit confusing becuase it's not made clear. For example, we were on a TUI Flight for a P&O Cruise, no lounge access was given only premium security. After recording, it was a mistake i realised i'd made.

Thanks, yes I realised my mistake after uploading. The TUI Premium we’ve done before was part of a charter flight for P&O Cruises. If you book a TUI package you do get lounge access as you said.

Hi, thanks for watching. I believe it was a single Bacardi and mixer is 1 drink. You can only have draft Pepsi though, not Coke or bottles drinks. You can’t order doubles on the drinks package. Hope that helps
