I can’t decide, this or your piano version of Afterimage. This much I do know both make me sob tears of joy.
Stunning the legend Jeff Lynne ❤ awesome thanks for sharing
Beautiful voice.
Saw Elo msg/Nyc 9/16/24 absolutely loved them ❤️
Uma das minhas bandas queridinhas
Thanks for posting, I was there the following night. Best concert I've ever seen!!!
Was here
I can’t believe that Billy Greer is a FB friend now. KANSAS forever!❤
I went to the concert everyone was singing and grabbing there phones with the flash it was a true vibe of coming together. There was not only old but also young there. It was only then my sister said it was there last tour.
Elo 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤❤❤❤
Nice cover! Thanx 🤙
That doesn't like look Bev Bevan on the skins. If it is, he's put on a lot of weight.
I love ELO and have for 50 years BUT when you're on stage and have a guitar strapped on, play the damn thing. Makes you look either inept or stoned trying to play it. George Strait does the same thing. Not good IMO.
'Always a beautiful song. Check out a solo version of LIVE guitar & vocal to track at ua-cam.com/video/mtAtqqg-Ezw/v-deo.html
I'm going to Oct 18th show in Dallas. I saw them on their last tour too. Some of my favorite music.
Ah what a blast from the past great memories the legend Jeff Lynne ❤❤❤ and band thanks for sharing😊
Thanks! Was at 9/16 nyc show

Prem's
Nicw yet again. 🎉
Nice seat's. It's like I'm there.. Txs to you .❤.
Love ELO!!
Thanks so much for uploading these great videos of ELO songs that allow me to momentarily escape far back to my younger years when nearly everything seemed right with the world.
You're very welcome. :-)
One of my favorite songs!!
Me too, Dan!
Such a fantastic show. Mr. Jeff Lynne and Company were in top form. THANK YOU for posting.
You're welcome!
I'm jealous, Tater!!
I was SO envious when a couple of my friends saw them on their last tour (before Covid) - I didn't even know they were touring at the time. I hoped and prayed they would do another tour and vowed to get tix if they did. I feel very lucky!!! 😀
I loved ELO and the Beach Boys as a young man -- both my favorite groups. Both need to turn their wonderful music over to a new band that can cover them live with the respect those songs deserve. Jeff Lynn and Mike Love cannot sing anymore. Look at what Leonid and Friends did for Chicago. Jeff, Brian and Mike, you are all amazing but time to pass the baton -- please!
How about respect for the man who wrote and produced this song (among many others)? This is Lynne's final tour, and may be the last time us fans of ELO who attended one of these concerts will get to watch the founder and original member of the group perform right in front of us. If its only quality of sound you're looking for, then stick with playing their albums. You'll be able to listen to them with their original quality for the rest of your life, but going to see Jeff Lynne perform in person may now be a once in a lifetime experience.
@@JoeyDiphard Ok, that's a point. But how about having him sing one or two songs and then let the new band sing? If I go to the concert, I don't want to hear bad singing. I can go to a karaoke bar for that.
@@bjreacher6402 Criticism of singing and singers is highly subjective among people because it's based on personal experiences, opinions, and cultural differences -- or in your case, ageism. I found nothing so wrong with Lynne's singing that would deserve such contempt and disrespect toward him as you've shown here. Take my advice, don't ever go to any concert of great but older singers, because you evidently don't care one bit about the humanity of celebrity when it comes to famous singers/bands of yesteryear, nor the genius they possess. Keep in mind that it's a genius of music writing without which your younger singers would never be able to impress you with Lynne's songs.
@@bjreacher6402 >"That's just a fact he has to deal with "< No, it's obviously a thing YOU have to deal with. Lynne is doing just fine with his millions of fans who still love to see and hear him perform in person. There's a very significant difference between audio and visual. As your only concern is audio, I will again assert that you need to stay away from concerts that feature -- in your narrow opinion -- singers "too old to sing". Leave those concerts to those who deeply appreciate the broad visual appeal of seeing and hearing the old greats. Stick with music from your iPhone instead. That way you'll never be disappointed and will have no need to publicly disrespect others. We evidently have very different understandings of the word "disrespect". It's defined as discourtesy or rudeness. That is precisely what you've done. You need a lesson in the old proverb which says, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". I will just add that you're crazy offensive in your dogmatism, and the emotion that's always attached to dogma precludes you from recognizing a "rational discussion" from one that is not. Any opposition to one's dogma is always perceived as an irrational assault on their person. I try to live by these words from the late, great, Christopher Hitchens: "Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity. Seek out argument and disputation for their own sake; the grave will supply plenty of time for silence."

What a wonderful song very lovely of this friend of George harrison
One of my favorite songs from that album. Most of the rest was way over played.
Legendary band. Still doing what they love. And still making people smile and sing.
Ta da !!!
I think he did an awesome job with Dennis DeYoung's vocals, but did anyone else think that Larry Gowan reminded them of John O'Hurley (The guy that played J. Peterman on Seinfeld) ??? Great show in Hershey!!!
That made me chuckle (re: Peterman)!
Man, that was bad
Gowan still sounds fantastic.
Legend
Very well done! I'm seeing them in about 3 weeks. Can't wait. Be my 8th time since 1981
From a distance she looks like Stvie Nicks, sounds pretty good
I just can't believe how good he still sounds, hes in his 70's and sounds like the original
Every person from the 80's knew the intro to Grand illusion
I'm from the 90s and I started smacking my mom when it came on because I grew up listening to her Styx albums. I was up on the balcony having a blast!
Cool recording. I was there too, but way up in the balcony. Great show.
Tommy Shaw still sounds amazing, this is my favorite Styx song
Im so jealous, you got to see Tommy Shaw live, right here in PA
You are so fortunate to see this rock legend live, they still sound amazing
I thought i was a Styx fan, never heard this song, cool though
Ill bet it was awesome to see them live
Always a great time!
Added to Popstar playlist.
Where the hell are the drums?
Wow they’re still so good! ❤
