Grazing Creation is about grazing God's Creation in a way that God created herd animals to graze. These principals are completed by using variations of rotational grazing on our 260 acres in southern Missouri.
250,000 LB stock density, cleaning up around the barn.
The area behind this barn has always been a very fertile area. The grass was getting really tall, despite being grazed a couple times this year. Even though I have been planting annuals here for several years, this year I think I screwed it up by the seed getting too deep, and then a lack of rain afterwards didn't help. it's just now starting to come up but in my opinion it's about 3 weeks too late. #grazingcreation #cattle #regenerativeagriculture #cows #farming

My neighbor asked about me grazing this 15 acres. I have worked through about 6 acres of it. I'm going to strip graze the woods to help clean things up and reset some of the succession. after this I won't return to it for several months or maybe none at all this year. Please let us know the state. Example : Southwest MO or Northwest WI. Anyhow, Thank you for the video. I am always trying to see what is failing and working. If it helps you feel better, it has been very dry in Southeast Ohio as well this year. I know, Feels do not grow food 😁
One more thing, Try not using glyphosate. If you get your soil right. The "weeds" should go away. I would water test to see how fast it is taking in the rain and make sure you have the right mix of calcium and phosphate, etc. If you ask me, It is all about soil testing. If I only had one tool. That would be the one.
I agree on the glyphosate. I do live in South Central Missouri. I have pulled soil samples in the past, but it has been several years since I have pulled them again.

That grass that is like gamma is called Dallas grass
Do they ever try and tip it?
They might try, because they rub on it a little bit the weight is centered at the bottom, and in 7-8 years of using this, I have never had them tip it over (knock on wood).
