Vad fint hälsningar från Sverige
Hello! Beautiful Town! May I ask where did you get the streetlights from?
They are called gooseneck lamps by Lionel trains
Hi, very pretty. Where do you buy your trains?
I probably won’t be getting either unless I come in a sum of money I already have the red polar berk on preorder the Halloween F-19, 5 Polar Express cars, 10 MTH North Pole passenger cars (three of which being the super dome) and I need a new car so we’ll have to see honestly but definitely leaning vision if it’s actually priced similar to the berks we’ll see if they make a set I’ll probably do that if it’s available
WOW!! I dont have words to describe how beautiful and magical your setup is!! I agree with other commentors that it is well laid out and not over crowded . LOVE the details, the phone booth, the santa pics in front of the house!! I wish wish that someday my village will be half as good.
Thank you for your kind remarks Very glad you enjoyed our scene.
How wide is your display table?
This is one of the most gorgeous Christmas villages video I’ve ever watched. Great work 😊
Wow it looks absolutely amazing what do you use for your snow and I love all of it but I love the Christmas train as well so much to take in so amazing
The snow we used comes in a bag that was bought at Michaels. I think. Dept 56 sells the same kind of snow. Anyway the snow is is ground up to be fine. Glad you enjoyed our scene.
Amazing
You have a very beautiful Christmas Train and village layout! I appreciate the hard work and attention to detail you put into your display. I love the details of your display. I noticed you placed your gooseneck street lights out evenly! I have used the same street lights. You spaced out everything, the buildings, the people, trees etc in a orderly fashioned which prevents it from looking too busy and cluttered! I know that can be hard to accomplish when you have a large collection of Department56 Buildings and figurines because you can be tempted to display everything you can & try to squeeze it all in! Thanks for creating this great video of your beatiful village along with the music you choose to go along with it!
Hello, thank you for your kind remarks and taking the effort to write them. So glad you found enjoyment from seeing our display. you are correct in that when we have a large collection, it is so tempting to try and include them all. But with limited space, I believe if we can reject that thought it makes for a more interesting scene. My mother told me many times less is more. I can also say that I have never seen a Christmas display that has not inspired good feelings. All of them are beautiful in their own way. Thanks again and may all your Christmases be bright.
Where did you get all your people in the village? Very nice! ❤
What size are those cars would love to have for my village where did you get them from.
The cars are diecast 1/48 scale. I have purchased the cars through many years of searching. mostly at train shows. some from toy stores but not many,. of course the internet is a good way to start. Search for 1/48th scale cars for the best scale.
What size table did you use
Hi, We began by extending the fireplace hearth by building boxes and placing them along the walls in a L shape They are the same height as the hearth and one foot and a half wide.. Then we stacked one inch insulating foam on top of each other and glued them together. we then carved them as best we could to make it look like a stone wall. This takes patience and if you look at the wall you might be able to tell where i became frustrated and slashed the wall in straight lines. after that we placed the carved wall against the boxes to create a tunnel for the train. The hearth is brick and slate so we covered the brick with 1/4 in plywood to look like a wall and crumbled brown paper to cover the slate. the paper was then painted grey and dry brushed with a lighter grey to look like rock. If it helps you would be able to move the entire rock section away and be left with an l shaped box one and a half feet wide. we then placed one inch thick foam on top to create the residential section. we the placed one inch insulating foam on the floor. (this foam can be found at your favorite big box store). Before that I took a hot foam cutter and cut lines in it to run extension cords underneath. The yellow church is place on top of a cut out section to cover all the power cords. The right downtown area has a bunch of trees to do the same. The best I can remember the lower section is eight feet by 6 feet. then from the tunnel we carved another section to make the ski area. I know you did not ask for all this info but just in case it might help in some way. Of course it would be easier to not build it on the floor. I purchased the bulk of the people at different train shows. this was done over many years. finding winter or Christmas related people at this scale is not easy. the scale would be 1/48th scale or O scale figures. the train is also O scale. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. Happy hunting.
Absolutely love this. We do a village every year and was wandering about your people and where do you get them

Where did you get the cars
So beautiful ❤️!!!!!!!!
Teresa, this is truly amazing! I just started my Snow Village this year and it bugs me a bit that the snow Village people Are so big in comparison to the buildings. Which people do you use? Lemax?
Hi, thanks for your comments. Most of the figures are from a company called Arttista. Almost all of the figures on the station platform and a few around it, are from Great Britain but I can not remember name of the company. If you search O scale figures you can find many more. O scale is the scale of the trains. If you search 3d scale figures you can find very nicely scaled figures. I believe this will become the norm. They make figures by scanning real people. again you would choose the o sale ones. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN
1/48th scale is o scale

Ciao Anna dallitalia. Grazie per I Tuoi gentili commentio Siamo molto conteni Che ti sia piaciuta la Nostra esposizione. Possano Tuttle le dose buone arrivare a te.
I copy the previous comment about setting up elaborate displays when the kids were young, but then they grew up, married, and had their own families with their own decorations and displays. This one that we are seeing is spectacular, to say the least. I wonder if Starbucks was around then, according to the time period that is represented? Just wondered. God bless.
Yes, you are correct in thinking that Starbucks was not around during that time period. We hesitated to use it because we wanted to represent the 1950's. But we liked the way it looked and caved in. Starbucks started on March 30, 1971 at the Pike Place Market in Seattle Washington. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. We appreciate your kind remarks. Take care.
Bellissimo! Le costruzioni sono tutte Dept 56? E le automobili? ❤
Grazie, Gli edifici sono tutti: Dept 56 collezione villaggio di neve. Le auto sono in scala 1/43 di molti produttori.
Where do you find all of the old signage and cars? You have a fabulous display.
Hi, except for the buildings just about everything in the scene was purchased over many years at different train shows in New Jersey. A small amount at some antique stores. Thanks for the kind reply.
Beautiful model! Still, the 19th/mid 20th centuries were pretty unpleasant times to be alive unless you had a decent income/inheritance.
WOW, Very Nice !
Это потрясающе!
A magical winter wonderland, with no crime in sight, so nice.......
Wow🎉🎉🎉🎉

This is fantastic and the fact that you did it with your dad brings a tear to my eye.
Beautiful work Teresa Diller, thank you for showing us and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I have to agree with many others here in the comment section…. This is one of the nicest Christmas town, train set ups I’ve seen. Just the right amount of everything. The layout of the town, village is great.
Is that a dash-9 or idk I can't tell what it is
Hi,Merry Christmas. It is a es44ac built by General Electric. The model was made by MTH trains.
Magical! You made my day! Thank you.
Awsome just awsome
I wish I could do that
It’s not as hard as it looks. Collecting for many years helps. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

The best one I’ve seen, I too trying to make mine but I’m lacking space but need my garage cleared for my car.
Cool video. Just subscribed. Is there another video soon?
Sadly no, we are getting ready to move so we are not putting a village up this year.
