Thank you. One of the benefits of playing since LoB is having a bigger scope of the game that I have memories of. Broken formats are interesting for another reason too, deckbuilding has evolved a lot. I have seen theories that for example zoo wasn't the best deck in Zoo format possibly, people were just insisting on building Zoo at the time. Not sure how true that statement is though.

Yeah honestly wasn't sure if Revolver should count, but it was a pretty heavy package. Sunavalon technically also is a powerhouse with plant link! But thank you.

Part of the point of the video is that I'm not a traditional pend player, which kinda gives an unique perspective. The dark rebellion one had cool generic use. The only pend decks I ever really loved was MR3 Zarc Magicians and Metalfoes. And Metalfoes was very amazing tbf.

@@Cokevanished Yeah but the price is kind of the issue. Plus loads of degen cards like shifter, d barrier, bysials that just aren't healthy for the game at all. That, and the new xyz in SUDA makes Ryzeal a real degenerate strategy as it can Handloop now. It's honestly spellbook/dragon ruler meta all over again but with more degen staples

@ it’s not anything close to spellbook ruler format 😭 the only way you stopped rulers was with floodgates (ophion, jowgen, crimson blader) but Maliss and Ryzeal can both lose to the ubiquitously played hand traps. Also I think bystials are great for the game, maybe Druiswurm could see a limit but to me they’re no better than a card like fenrir, against certain decks they’re better but it’s not toxic at all. But the format itself is not bad, it’s just expensive, as soon as these cards see a reprint the game will be in a great spot.

@Cokevanished I feel like Bystials overly punish and hit rogue decks mostly. Stuff like Infernity and Galaxy for example. Also the expensive cards probably won't be reprinted until 2026 megatins. But yeah I think if you don't play exactly ryzeal or malis you realistically don't stand a chance hence me comparing it to ruler/spellbook tbh.

@ my point is that the reason ruler spellbook format was bad is not because there’s only two super good decks, it’s that the actual gameplay sucks, and that’s not even true for the dragon ruler mirror. And no one really expects infernity or galaxy to be playable anyways even if the bystials weren’t legal. Also I guarantee the fiendsmith cards will be reprinted in the mega tins this year, and fuwalos already has a confirmed reprint the the newest quarter century set. Maybe what makes the format bad will be the Ryzeal hand loop because it punishes board breakers which work exceptionally well against the deck but we’ll have to see when suda comes out.

@@Cokevanished in the end, these kind of lists are hella subjective! I'm going full fuck it we ball mode with Infernity Lightsworn and having fun in my own way, but comp it just ain't my format. If you enjoy it that's completely valid too!

Skull Servant best deck

It's just a personal opinion/take on what I expect is good to pick-up. I feel like Branded is getting hate after hate by Konami atm in the TCG atleast. So it's not a good deck to start picking up into the new year

I agree with you that Maxx C has a ton of outs and that the card should be unbanned BUT NOT AT ONE. Maxx C being hit to 1 imo is what lead to the card being banned in the TCG in the first place as it lead players to believe that the card was "sacky" not realising that the sack element was it being at 1 copy and not the card existing period. If you are going to unban Maxx C it NEEDS to be as Maxx 3

The issue with Maxx is that it will get abused by combo decks and just draw more handtraps. It will lead to even more situations where it's handtraps vs handtraps

@@yugiranked5103 It would need to be nerfed obviously like say Maxx c can only do it two or three times each turn and it has to be a hard once per turn on the activation
