@northtakoda I'm already loving the custom service. I should come to this McDonald's on this side of the comment section 🥹🥹
How much money do I need to have to live this lifestyle? I live in the US.
Honestly I don’t make too too much, 70-80k, but we coupon and use resources like gokoala.com, people list their timeshares for rent, occasional timeshare tours and flight coupons ☺️☺️
@@northtakoda I appreciate you sharing! Thank you very much!
That’s right, go get your life!! Happy for you. 👍

@@northtakoda It really is. I am not sure how a sad face got on my comment lol. I am super hopeful more creators will start to think like you and there will be a shift.

Thank you!!!! It’s all about creating what you want in my opinion
@ that’s it!🎯
Thank you for sharing. I understand what you mean about your drive and work ethics not being as chill or less overwhelming as your demeanor. I do hope you provide yourself rest each day (though each day it may look different). As well as continue to stay in tune with yourself.
Thank you so much. Trying to realize that I am not one dimensional and need sleep 😃
Thank you for being so open about your mental health journey. it’s something many of us can relate to but struggle to talk about. The courage it takes to share this is inspiring, and it’s a powerful reminder to take rest seriously and care for ourselves. Balancing work with self-care is tough, but hearing your perspective makes it feel a little more possible❤. Keep going at your own pace you’re helping so many people by sharing your truth. 💪 We’re here for you!❤
Thank you so much it means so much to me 😁
That’s awesome that you stuck with it. Cheers to another 300 🎉
Thank you omg
Congrats on 300 days!! That’s a huge accomplishment. Has it gotten easier?

All four? Ouch! That explains why you've been quiet for the last few days.
Thank you 😁 the closer you get to 30 the worse these things hurt Forreal. Cannot wait for it to go back to normal lol
these are almost impossible to retrieve data off of.
They can be… but he told me to give it a shot 😁
Its mighty quiet here."neighbors disturbing ur peace"DISTURBING THE PEACE LOOL INTO MY EYES NOW TLL ME THE THINGS UR BLABBING ABOUT BEHIND MY BACK I HOLD IS HARD TO BREAK TOO LATE FOR APOLAIZES
Its might quiet here.
if you ever feel lost in life or simply do not know what you want or should do, maybe it is best to stick with your gut and do what you think is right, and I do support you go for it and risk it because simply put it, if you don't risk anything at all you will never do anything big and not be truly happy in life. but I do think you should have some saving before you do go for it though just to be safe!
Oh absolutely. Thank you that means a lot!!! I will do it smart but some risk wouldn’t hurt 😀
If you open a harddrive its automaticly is broke most of the time because the smallest amount of dirt can break it.
Oh absolutely. But it was a lost cause so I told him I’ll do what I can 🫣
i have no clue who you are, what you do, why you're doing this, and what you're talking about at the start- but you are an absolute delight to watch. thank you, algorithm, for dropping me 282 parts in.
Omg thank you so much I really appreciate it :D hope you stick around
Good result as was the workstation. It's always good to have a second machine around.
Forreal I was super happy with that score
That’s fantastic!! Glad you got lucky on the awesome find!
THANK YOU one of the luckiest things I have had happen in a minute. I give the credit to my praying mantis lol
@@northtakoda ma’am, I totally get where your coming from, at least somewhat anyway. 💪🤓 Just scored an awesome ryzen 9 system that I’m looking to repurpose as a Linux lunchbox learning/gaming machine! It had the cpu broken away due to it being dropped and it was super dirty, but it was fairly newish, so let’s hope it boots! I pray for your small business’s success, and make sure to stay fresh cheese poof! 🫡
Heck ya, that’s awesome. Let’s gooo thank you!!! I hope it starts up!!
@@northtakoda indeed! Thank you ma’am!
$300 data recovery is a good company. You opened the drive not in a clean room or compartment, You broke the #1 rule of data recovery. I cheap way to simulate a clean room. Take a 3d printer enclosure, exhaust fan, and some elbow high gloves, Cut circler holes in the clear front of the 3d printer enclosure. Then hot glue the gloves to it.
Good idea! I’ll definitely do that. Got lucky and finished it and got it solved but definitely not going to make another job like that until I get it in order lol
0:50 Great timing. Definately a dumb ass move right there as you call yourself as much.
Hahaha very fair. I gave him all the info to do data recovery but he wanted me to try because he wasn’t going to pay for a recovery service 😂 but normally wouldn’t take something on like this
Yea, it sucks when you agree to a job and then part way through, realize that you can't fix it. It feels embarrassing to go back to them and admit it even if you told them it was unlikely to be fixed.
True. I did let him know there was a good chance he wouldn’t get it, tried to be as forward as possible. Got it done but definitely going to keep emphasizing that I cannot guarantee ANYTHING with data LOL
Dont open it 🫣🫣
😁 got it fixed tho 🤣 that last ditch effort was real
the customer is an idiot since baracuda harddrives have a data recovery warrenty. they'll sent all the data to a different drive and sent you a replacement drive. the extended warrenty is 10 years and that warrenty doesnt cost anything more all you needed to do was contact support. had a failing drive 4 years ago they sent me a new one with all my data. and usually a singular fall doesnt destroy the drive since the baracuda drives have stress tests where they drop them from 15f. i think they just parked a chair on the drive since the pressure point of a chair leg can break them. anyway the warrenty is now void since its been opened so yeah no turning back
They wouldn’t let him do that because he got it through Staples and he got a replacement… they fought with him for like a week LOL
Bulls**t! Data recovery warranty on the cheapest HDD available? No. You're thinking of IronWolf etc. branded enterprise drives. The return to base warranty would only be applicable if you lied about what happened and didn't mention that you dropped it.
I don’t have an official clean room or anything which I am definitely going to get and I was a little apprehensive of the job but he wanted me to try as a last ditch effort even knowing the setting I had. He didn’t want to pay 1000 dollars 🤣 I did end up getting it fixed, will make a video on that.
Nice ! You've made someone's day.
Thank you!!!
Opening a hard drive is asking for contamination. Professional data recovery services charge so much because they have to maintain a clean room for disassembly
That’s very true. He didn’t want to go that route and I am setting up something a little more official but it was a very wild job LOL.
@@northtakodaas a technician it’s our duty to inform the client what the best option is even if it’s out of their range. Accepting a job that potentially makes the future for recovery more difficult and expensive was not the move. I understand starting up you need jobs, but what you really need is return customers and a good reputation. By letting them know that this is not really the best option and that they should hold off until a later point where they can afford a recovery service is the best you could offer. It lets them know you want to help them, not take their money. Same as with taking job where the part costs more than the device. If a client brings me a cheap android tablet or phone I let them know a screen replacement is not worth it. Instead I help them find a good used flagship in their budget.
@@Get_yotted oh absolutely. I definitely gave him all of that info and what I could do but he still wanted me to try, and didn’t want a recovery service. But I definitely am transparent with people and advise for their best interests 😊
back up and use raid configurations is the first step
Absolutely. It was an external drive he was plugging in to his laptop but he definitely needed some cloud backups
And the lesson here is to backup religiously, especially where data loss is going to impact a business.
Absolutely
