P.S. Florida has a higher goals per game than NW, but NW's schedule is loads more difficult than Florida's.

Thanks for your show. Unfortunately I only heard about it recently. I will look forward to your last episode of the year. You may be planning this already, but it would be interesting for you two to pick who you think will be the top 5 teams next year. This would be especially interesting seeing that numerous teams, including NW and BC, are losing a large amount of starters and so will have a much different lineup next year. A comment about NW, (I'm a NW fan). It's appeared difficult for NW to replace Rhatigan' 62 goals and 11 assists from 2023. But I looked at the goal/assists totals per game, and just goals per game, both of which are more in 2024 than 2023. My point being, that I don't think anybody has a very good chance of beating NW in the final four. They just have too many offensive threats along with a defense that, I don't think, gets enough credit. Plus when you add the large number of assists in the Penn game, that makes it even harder to beat NW as they also have such great dodgers. As you guys know, it's really hard to beat a good assist team that also has a lot of good dodgers. IMHO. It should be a really fun weekend!!!

I'd love the Final Four to return to LI. Hofstra hosts the men's quarterfinals often but it would a great host for the women's Final Four.

A few suggestions: Prepare for the questions segment of the show. Listening to you guys go ahhhm, uhhh, or worse--dead air, while listening to the podcast is tedious. Easy to lose interest at that point. You should have what you're going to say ready to go. Dead air in general is a killer on a podcast. I'd suggest you guys prepare a little better. Tighten it up. Too many ahhs, and ummm's. Try not to both talk at the same time. If you're both talking at the same time, the listener hears nothing but unintelligible, indistinguishable talking sounds. Can't make out what either one of you are saying if you're both talking at the same time. I Talk, You Talk is the cardinal rule for radio/podcasts (if you both want listeners to understand what you're saying, anyway.) Say your names along the way. No one can tell who "Meg" is on a podcast--you're Both named Meg. Help listeners get to know your voices by saying which Meg you are on occasion--especially at the beginning of the show. Love the show. You've got great raw material and you complement each other well, but you should tighten it up. Pick up the pace if you want to keep your listeners listening for over an hour. It's a bit too long too. Best of luck

Questions/thoughts posed in episode 2: Are btb goals to the point of over saturation? YES! So tired of seeing btb goals treated like they're an amazing rare aspect of the sport. EVERYONE can score a btb goal now! I think it's just LAZY for ESPN top 10 and the mainstream lacrosse media community to keep highlighting them. Agreed! The marquee matchup start times on Saturday's should be better staggered, yet I think most players (and coaches, too?) prefer playing at noon or early afternoon on the prime weekend Saturday gameday. But yes--in order to better showcase the sport, and make it easier for us rabid women's lacrosse fans to spend all day Saturday on the couch watching the more compelling matchup games, the start times should be staggered. Imagine if the NFL clumped all their prime matchups at 1pm on Sundays? That's where women's lacrosse needs to wake up and get with the program, especially when we hear the GrowTheGame GrowTheGame parrots squawking so frequently. Go squawk to the NCAA! Go squawk to the programs! They're the ones dragging ass and content with business as usual. One great change however--Elite Eight Day is now 4 games with their own time slots. I think it is now the best day of the women's lacrosse season (provided they're not mostly blowouts, that is).
