What rod was that? I have caught too many catfish of that size with a 6wt 2sec (not always by accident 😅). Never had a flyrod pop like that. 5wt 4sec has sent sections flying, but never broken.

Book - "Tying Flies with CDC" - Leon Links, covers fly tiers like Martin Fratnik (F-Fly), Henri Bresson, Marc Petitjean among others and has some really good cdc. If one wants some indication of cdc dry flies this is recommended

Please update the line selector app. I just downloaded and it is not compatible with IOS 15. BTW. I love Rio’s fly lines. Keep up the good work. And ignore those who complain about cost. Obviously they do not understand the true value of cutting edge technology. And even your budget level lines work better than most other more expensive lines.

Great cinematography, scenery, and skill. I have a number of SA friends down-under in NZ who enjoy Trout fishing/fly tying so it is a natural progression to embrace your channel. I'm just about to order a JVise which looks superb. Tight lines and have a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
