@@eternally9775 oh i do have evolved parts but i just don't buy the seasonal runes and charms. i think top 1000 is doable with the best runes and charms, especially now with the charms that gives you evolved parts. but without good runes and charms, it will be difficult to get to Challenger

@@maurice_ccy I did reach Challenger but that's LB2,800+ placement. I was outgunned by teams with evolved parts. I do believe I have completed my needed runes and charms [scrap & crafting), although my team don't have fully optimized body parts. Thanks for your opinion. Maybe will try harder tomorrow coz I already parked for the epic era.

@@KoiMasterSensei i think one of the problems is that the balancing team may not be playing the game at the highest level (top 100). another could be that they are focussing on casual players and not the top 1000.

thanks so much for the comment! i totally agree with you that not every rune and not every card has equal power level. this is for sure something that the balancing team should work on to make sure we will see more archetypes, runes, and charms being used at the very top. (and yes, i pretty much instant concede to mavis teams, so i would really hope to see a change. the effects are simply too much)

@@maurice_ccy Thanks, i realy enjoy your content very unique and well done, i hope your channel grows a lot, i actualy did well in rare era finishing top 500, but only top 1300 in epic, and strugling in this mystic era, pro gonna end top 1300 as well, they nerfed the boombshell rune, but didnt touch feather descend and fading eclipse, the game ending at turn five against feathers before u even get your 3 energy turn starting 1st dont make any sense !

I totally agree. It makes Reverse Heal too strong. Either they lower the damage from Reverse Heal, or they cannot ignore Taunt, otherwise it is a bit too OP compared to other Attacks.

totally. i think certain mechanics are simply too strong, making other strategies difficult to compete with. sometimes when you queue into a team, you already know the outcome of the game before the game even starts because of the difference in power level or that there is no way for certain teams to counter certain strategies.

for sure! venom master is the best epic rune for poison. Adding 6 poison stacks every Round is pretty significant. having said that, bleed is not doing the best in the epic era as there is not much support until the mystic era

fair point. there are many non-optimal giant bubble teams but the win rate in challenger is not that great compared to other archetypes' optimised teams. having said that, i totally agree that it feels bad to lose to a rune and a part (similar to cucuber slice and healing pulse last season).

S7.5 Runes and Charms will be available but you can still play with S7 Runes and Charms if I understand correctly

@@felipetv1323 tbh i don't think they should make any changes at this point because people have spent money buying runes and axies based on that assumption. i personally don't have healing pulse but I'll feel bad for players who invested unless sky mavis has a way to compensate for those players who invested. at this point it is probably easiest for them to sit it out and wait for the next season

yea poison x sleep won the rare era this season. i must say, i am happy to see that poison is finally finding some success. but sleep is not without its counter by retaining 0 cost cards to wake up (like square teeth and feather dagger). yea i wish bleed and other under performing archetypes can get buffed but we will have to wait for next seaaon for that

In a way they still can play for Draw if they don't have enough damage to finish off opponents, but now they have more tools to do damage with bulwark

yea sustain seems to be even harder for aggro to play against in season 7. let's hope it is not all about sustain in season 7 haha

for other matchup, e.g. against poison or sustain, having tassels can help with dealing more damage with shields

good questions. there used to be quests that you complete to unlock Momo but they removed those quests and has plans to replace the quests with something else but that something else is not released yet(?). will have to wait a bit and see.

I think it is still early to say for Mystic Era, and depends on what you mean by top rank. Currently before the mystic runes and charms are available on the market, there are anemone teams at around top 30ish at the highest. This may change once everyone gets to play Feather Descend Momo. Also, it depends on how well you pilot the team as well. If you are already familiar with Anemone, better stick with it for now until the meta is clearer at the very top.

Good question! There is not much resources out there. The easier way to start is probaly net-decking, which means look at the temas at the top of the leaderboard, e.g. on axies.io, axieboo.com, and copy what the top players are doing. Another way is to start with an archetype that you are interested in. You can see my previous meta reports in my blog - paragraph.xyz/@lunacian - for example team for different archetypes. The third way is to simply look at the cards, runes, and charms (e.g. in collection in game) and see what synergise with each other and build a team from scratch. Of course the 3 ways are not mutually exclusive. You can also go on Axie Discord and engage with the community for theorycrafting. (Guildless Gamers is another good community to engage with for theorycrafting.) Hope this helps!
