So. I turned 50 and my laser 2 is killing my back with tacking. I know this boats are very powerful, fast, and hard to sail. What about reducing the sail area to control the power? Any thoughts on the physical toll to the body vs a laser 2( I sail all three sail and use the trapeze). is it worth upgrading or reasonable to upgrade if I'm not the best sailer.
I just watched the Wizard of Zenda movie about this guy's grandfather Buddy. Saw him in the movie, found him on the UA-cam. This is definitely not Lake Geneva in Cheeseland! At least when I was windsurfing in the Gorge, you never saw sailboats, but this is another level altogether! Go Harry!
By far the fastest yet smoothest tacking I’ve ever seen!! Fantastic coordination between the crew!! 👍
If you have never sailed dinghies you will never appreciate the skill involved
ozzie skiffs have come a long way

much more physical than a laser2, harder to sail too.
49erFX has a smaller sail area but is more physical than a laser 2 probably
what do you do about the jib
It’s a self tacker
