Hey, well yes but in general you want to keep all weight low. And the transmission + Motor does a lot for your center of gravity. If you would just raise it all together I think you would need even more offset to achieve the same geometry. So you would just put all the heavy stuff higher while actually you dont need to do. Tuning is a like 5% game on all edges. Its only 5% but it adds up :) In another video I showed how to move the motor 3mm forward sounds small but again adds up

Well this has multiple reasons: 1. the can side is always heavier to it further drops center of gravity of the car 2. the can side can not leak because there is not threaded cap 3. it fits better on my frame because these are big bores and always start touching the frame when articulating

They are awesome for a forced droop setup. They usually come with a internal counter spring. But alternatively you can use a rubber string to force a little compression. They are very smooth and I just went down from 60 to 20 weight oil

What headlights are u using?they are very bright and is very good. I used a normal 5mm ones and is not that good

The 1:24 scale is awesome. Super fun and still just put it in the backpack

I guess it depends on the shafts. I use metal ones that have universal joints and they dont bind even thought the angle is pretty hefty. The stock ones with CVDs I think would bind.

@@amonkeyrc1387 may have to order that chassis. Did you add the wedge to levle out the trans? Or is it same pitch as skid?

@@1aview No I have it right on the skid fully angled. But I did tilt up the back axle a tiny bit so that I have only one of the nasty angles near the transmission. Also it is only critical in full shock extension. I use 100mm Desert Liazards which are about 110mm when fully extended.

Out of the box its a very gentle racer. The electronics are great but you need to stiffen up the center and rear diff to turn it into a beast.
