Nice tip about the subframe. I need to go mine, as under power it pulls left. I will get new bolts and disc cut the old one out. They should be replaced anyway.
Where did you get the valve?
Tesla.
the part for this American Tesla made it over the wall ... Made in Mexico lmao🤣😂🤣😂
Those hose clamps look to be 30 years old! The S only came out in 2012. This gentlemans hands are brown from the rusty clamps.😂😂😂
Thanks for your video. When can you post videos on the upper control arms replacement?
What's your approx VIN and build date? My understanding is that area that blocks the bolt (on the chassis side/unibody) was changed at least one in the nosecone generation cars--- I'm just wondering if your car was build before or after mine.
It looked bleak but rember a hacksaw or just the blade of alum oxide couldv fit easy there
Great video, thank you

Thank you. But why do you work in the dirt of a field? 🤔
My driveway and no other choice sadly
What's size and type of bolt is that one that was cut?
The proper bolt is a couple of pound from Tesla and is special for alignment so you need the proper bolt
Really excellent. Thank you.
Had to do this my own car. Ended up changing both and drops links and top wishbones. Bit of *itch to cut the bolt. Rip saw the one to use with correct blade.
P R O M O S M 😃
I’m getting ready to replace mine now thank you for this video …..
good luck, its pretty straight forward once bolt is cut off. just remember the larger cutting disc.
Surely people who can afford a Tesla can pay through the nose for this to be done by a Tesla Garage. Bit of a pointless presentation really.
I do it on the car i own. I'm a DIY mechanic. I own a tesla.... why pay tesla for jobs i can do myself.... many people in the same mindset (even if you arnt). just because you can afford a tesla doesnt mean you (a) want to throw money at a tesla dealership or (b) dont know how to do the work yourself. many Model S cars are now out of warranty in the UK so more and more will want to do work themselves. Some are 12 years old now if you go back to 2012 models.....
”People who can afford a Tesla”… whats your problem? Taking time to write such an ignorent comment…
Oh, I love rattling the cage of materialistic people who live above their pay packet. Good luck when it comes to getting market value when you finally realise the batteries are shot and want to sell, along with no service history. That's Tesla or any other garage stamped or headed paperwork. A piece of lined A4 paper with 'I replaced this part on the such and such a date', isn't worth the paper its written on. You might as well be selling a Nissan note.
@@petergearing4796your comments are as useful as an asshole on your elbow.
@@petergearing4796I really feel sorry for you, but its your problem… bye bye 😂
