    she didn't like the way comedians parodied her so she threatened to sue them. what's that about, she didn't like the way she was parodied, so she is going to bully them and dehumanize them?

    • @PursuitofFreedom
      @PursuitofFreedom Місяць тому

      I'm not sure threatening to sue someone is bullying, but I hear your point. I recorded this before all of this happened. It certainly seems to be getting a bit ridiculous at this stage.

    Not about how she danced. You are either ignorant, unintuitive, or intentionally misunderstanding what people are mad about. One of the give aways is you reframe your opposition and argue with that. You are a total hack in this regard.

    She’s either an adult or a child, I see you think she is a child- or you are just using her for a stupid video. I don’t see how YOU are better than anyone, so get off your high horse.

      I definitely see her as an adult, and would be advocating the same regardless. I'm definitely not 'better' than anyone else - just a chick voicing her opinion and calling out some of the nasty behaviour that was going on at the time.

    100% agree, people are being ridiculous. The first reactions from people were appreciative and light-spirited, then they shifted from laughing with her to laughing at her to degrading her to demanding she apologize for being a bad dancer and accusing her of embarrassing her country and lying and stealing. People are awful. Thank *you* for having sense.

      Hey the person doing the pursuit of freedom podcast person, do you have any issues with any bad words to Donald Trump?. Getting bad (and good) words aimed at you is part and parcel of being in the public eye.

    You clearly dont know what brakedance is. Its one of the 4 core elements to hiphop music. you think a rapper would ever dance like that? no, cause its not looking cool as simple is that. this is what people complain about

    The way she dehumanized all the other dancers and stepped on them so she could cheat her way into being Australia's representative

    • @PursuitofFreedom
      @PursuitofFreedom Місяць тому

      Certainly a unique point of view. I don't see participating in an event as dehumanising anyone, but I can see why some people have taken offence. There was definitely a disparity in dancing styles between her and the rest of the competition.

    Is not about “liking” the way she dance. It’s that this is a serious matter. People trust the criteria of an institution like the Olympic Games, or the academy that granted her a PhD on this matter. Is not a matter of liking it or not. Is that this was a JOKE, not even close to what dancing is.

    • @PursuitofFreedom
      @PursuitofFreedom Місяць тому

      A perspective I hadn't considered. It makes sense that the strong reactions reflect how much people care about upholding the institution of the Olympic Games. I still don't think how this whole ordeal has been dealt with is right though.

      @PursuitofFreedom Місяць тому

      I've heard this from a few people. I certainly hope she didn't cheat her way in - but who am I to know 🤷‍♀ . If she did, she still doesn't deserve to be dehumanised (no-one does). Consequences can be put in place for cheating, without treating people nastily.
