Beautiful trip
@@ericorange441 One of my favorite places.. Neverending beauty 🧡😍
Lawd 😍
Montana is such rugged beauty 😍 🍂
as a new subscriber, I really enjoyed your video. I, too, do a lot of overlandding with my 2016 4runner trail that's decked out for that purpose. I couldn't imagine doing it in any other vehicle. The scenery there is incredible, but one day, you should visit where I'm from, good old British Columbia Canada. Keep up the great work, and remember to be safe out there.
We really enjoy the 4runner.. let's us see all the places we want to see. We would love to visit BC one day! Already on our list! Thanks for tuning in! You be safe out there too 🙏💛
Just an FYI...you shouldn't let your dogs run loose in bear country and especially in Griz country. Bears see dogs as natural enemies and will attack if they feel threatened, particularly if its a sow with cubs. Do your dogs and the bears a favor and don't put them in a position where things might get ugly.
👍
I just got that REI rollup/folding table. It looks really solid. Thank you for the recommendation! Im heading out to S/W Montana over Halloween and cant wait to field test it.
Awesome! I'm glad you like it so far.. I don't think you'll be disappointed out in the field. Have a great trip!
Finally, someone travelling with a cattle dog
She's the best! Keeps the other dogs in line 🫡 ❤️
@@twodognite I’ve currently got 3 !!!!! A puppy girl, 5 yr old girl, and a 15 tr old male , all bonkers!!!! Sadly lost the other 3 a few years ago
@robgreenhill1426 3! That's wonderful! We talk often about a third.. just waiting for the right time. So sorry to hear about your heavenly pups - we never do fill that hole in our hearts when they are gone 💔
great video. the views are nice!
Thanks for checking it out! Montana is so beautiful! Was great to catch the Fall colors this year!
Perfect song 😂🐶🐶
@@gary_babich 😂😂 I thought so!
Hi Do you interested in adding some LED upgrade to your rig? We hope to do some sponsorship with you!
Semper Fi Marine!
🙌🙌
What dog beds are you suing here?
These are from @k9ballistics .. They are seriously the best .. although I've been checking and it looks like they are out of stock on this particular model ☹️ Their needs are made to last tho- we use them indoors and outdoors.. dogs love the high sides to rest their heads on
Great content! I like how you’ve built out the 4 Runner. We are getting there with ours. Did you do the upgrades? Were there any issues fitting the awning to the prinsu roof rack with an IKamper 3.0?
Thank you! That is Gary's masterpiece 😃 The bag that it comes in hangs down a little low (gets in the way of the doors) so we are going to think of a way to remedy that. Gary said it was a little tricky installing it with ikamper. Psst.. @gary_babich wanna chime in on the install? We're working on a video that will go over all of his mods, too
@MarknKris444 The awning came with L brackets and I ended up lifting the iKamper up on the awning side (I loosened all clamps on the tent) with some spare 2x6 I had lying around. I was able to slide in 1/4" carriage bolts in the Prinsu crossbar channels perfectly. Once I positioned the awning where I wanted it I tightened everything down and then secured the iKamper back into place. Its manageable by yourself but it would be much easier and faster with two people. Everything is super low-profile just the way we want it up top.
@@gary_babich Thanks, babe 😘 ❤️
@@gary_babich Thanks for the info. We are still debating whether to try the IKamper awning or a 180 awning. What brand is your 180 awning?
@@MarknKris444 our awning is from Overland Vehicle System; this is their 180° LTE (33 lbs).
Love Montana. Should we start planning our trip for next year? 🤔
That's what I've been saying, too! We drove through some beautiful forest land on the way home, too and I kept saying.. we should just spend our next August trip in Montana 🙌 Let's do it!
I'm all for it :)
I am from your town also and it is great to see locals with a channel doing overlanding. I get out with my wife also and like to see new spots to try from your channel.
So many beautiful areas up here! We love finding new spots to camp and explore.. thanks for tuning in! Let us know if you have any suggestions out here 😊
Perfect trip with the perfect company!
The BEST company ❤️
Great video, love you guys stuff! Love that whole area so much but haven’t been up there in years. Fortunately we will be heading through there next summer on our way to Tuktoyaktuk. Can’t wait to see that area again!
Wow! Tuktoyaktuk! Gary really wants to do that drive.. we've watched a couple YT videos about it.. looks incredible!
@@twodognite Yes, it will be epic. We have mid August to mid September blocked off for this trip. Already planning, it will come up fast! Isn’t that fridge Awesome!!
@Justcruisintrails That is so exciting! And, yess! We love the fridge!! 💯
@@Justcruisintrails Do you have any video from your last trip?
@@twodognite I have posted two videos from our Oregon trip last month and still have maybe three more from that trip to do. Not quite the quality of yours, but the channel is only a couple months old🤷♂️😊
Beautiful scenery!!
It was!
What a beautiful area ! Great video !
@@cherri400 Thank you! We just love this area.. it is truly one of Idaho's gems 💎
Heading up there myself soon. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Fall colors are poppin! 🍂
That was a great video, we spent 15 years ice climbing in Ouray and that area and have never been there in the summer, go figure🤷♂️ One of these days! To much to do and not enough time.😬😃
That's what I always think, too- not enough time! The San Juans are so beautiful.. one of my favorite ranges. That is so cool that you've ice climbed!! Wow 🙌
When you lose the second row to the pups, I call it the 4Runner Packing Puzzle😂😬🤔
Haha! It most definitely is that!
We did Bayhorse and Silver City on our way to the Owyhee’s last year. Love ghost towns😃 That lodge is a pretty nice find👍
We'd like to go back and see the bigger lake.. this was one of those unplanned nights that turned out so sweet!
@@twodognite we would have loved to go up to the lakes, but we were pressed for time getting to our next camp. They look awesome though.
Great video, absolutely love that area! We just got back from the Owyhees last week. Can’t imagine traveling without out two pups😀🐕🐾
@@Justcruisintrails Same! We take them everywhere! 🥰🐶
Hello from Idaho. I enjoyed your video journey very much. My wife and I are “Jeeple” (Jeep People), but love the way y’all have your Toyota set up. We’re looking forward to some Fall overlanding soon. Perfect time of year. 🍁 Happy Trails
@westyso.cal.8842 Hii! We love Jeeples! We are very excited for some Fall overlanding, too - heading out this week towards Glacier NP.. thanks for tuning in!
@Gary: Is that a 1 Up bike rack? With your CBI rear swingarm & spare tire, will there be enough length or clearance?
Yes, it is the 1 Up bike rack! Gary just bought the hitch extension and needs to test it out still.. just got the new swing arm installed about a week ago!
@@twodognite Woohoo!
Woohoo is right! 🎉🙌
The MOOSE!!!! Great video! Question: How do you get your dog's easily in & out of your iKamper? I have an 87lbs German Sheperd. I sold my RTT simply because I couldn't get him high up there without having to carry him up and down.
I personally struggle.. Our girls are 50 and 55lbs.. Lola is easier because she's more compact but Willow is long .. Gary usually takes them up and brings them down. I think one day we will get an offroad teardrop- we would like to anyway. 87lb GSD sounds impossible!
Great videos. I the future can you do a video on your 4Runner ? Would like to see what mods you’ve done and what overlanding and camping gear you’re using . Thanks . Just subscribed.
Absolutely! Thank you for watching and for Subscribing- truly appreciated! We will try and get that video together for you very soon!
Camped there in Bridger-Teton a couple months ago! Loved this spot, great views to wake up to if you can get one of the higher camp spots
They are hard to get- was pretty happy to get the one we did! It's a beautiful area 😍
I love watching this. You capture the best parts! I'm sure I'll regret this later but you have permission to capture my breakdown(s) 😂. Yes, camping can wear you down 😅. Love you guys 😘
That was such a good one!! 😂🥰🥰 Love you more!
Love your videos!
Thank you so much for watching them! 🥰 I really appreciate your kind words 💛
I loved the sunrise - we’re so lucky to have wonderful national parks.
I was sooo glad I rolled out of the tent for that! I almost missed it- I was running down the road in a hurry to catch it 😂
So happy we ended in the Tetons. When we came up three years ago it has stayed at the top of my list of favorite places to camp. Love you guys!
We are always sad to part ways.. we love you guys too!
That camp area is on my bucket list! And moose in camp. Last trip out, my Ridgeback discovered the joy of chasing pronghorn antelope. No way was he gonna catch them but he was in hot pursuit. Fortunately the e-collar worked out to 1/2 mile as advertised! He crashed hard for an afternoon nap.
Omg! 😳😂 Thank goodness for the e-collar! Yes, those moose were right at Camp Rangers spot!! Totally did not expect that.. we actually pulled over because we saw the 2 deer .. and then whoa- 2 bull moose in the and spot!
Best part is Lola falling asleep sitting up towards the end of the video XD
Haha! I can't believe I didn't notice that at first.. 😂🥰🥰
Wow. Those bull moose with the mountain background. Worth all the hassles right there. Great stuff.
One-hundred percent! Also.. I always say how it pays to get up early! You always catch the magic!
I live in Idaho and yes I have camped there. Beautiful area!
It was such a great find for us! We definitely plan to return!
A french explorer named the grande tetons. French for big tits. Exact translation. Boys are the same nomatter the century 😮😊
Girls are so much better looking without all the makeup. Plain is real and your real is awfly cute.
☺️☺️
I have a question . If you packed your truck clear full, how long could you stay out in the mtns. Without going into town for supplies? And how many miles could you drive?
It depends.. you can pack extra water and gas in roto packs, food is usually what we run out of first.. I would say a solid week if you weren't going to drive a whole lot. Temperature matters as well. In the Summer (with dogs) we go through a lot of water which is why we try to camp near a fresh water source. If you're with a group, you can last a little longer and share your resources. On average, I would say 3-4 days before we head out for a resupply. And usually we like to move around and find new places to camp, so you just sort of plan to hit the stores on your way out to the next site..
@@twodognite your regular trips are one thing. But if you had to live as long as you could and travel as far as you could on good highway.
@@twodognite and you can't just say, I'm cute, I get by....
@@user-bd5md5cm2j 😂😂 🥰
Was just there a few weeks ago. What a magical place
Yes it is!
I think you are lost before you started that's not east Idaho central at best lol
Haha! Yes, we do end up more Central
Wow!!! What a shot! I love watching the hot shots workin. Such a cool hotsprings inside that ole barn. ❤
We loved watching them too! So wild to see those big planes flying so low..
Wait where/when is this? That looks like the Mission range back there but I didn’t know we had and DC10’s dropping retardant this year?
the best dogs!
They sure are! 🥰❤️
Love your videos! So beautiful. We are looking to take our dogs camping...what are those beds and the seat cover that your dogs use in the back seat? They look like cozy nests, perfect for curling up.
Thank you!! I'm so glad you are enjoying the videos 🥰 I thought I replied to this yesterday but I don't see it now.. The dog beds are from @@k9ballistics.. Ripstop Deep Den Dog Bed.. we LOVE them.. so durable- we use them indoors and outdoors and also helps keep them comfy and stable inside the truck. The seat cover we just ordered from Amazon.. I don't remember the exact brand but there are many that are similar and work really well!
Dogs rule; cats drool! Nice vid.
😂 Thanks for watching!
We love your videos, so beautiful ...we are wanting to take our dogs camping with us and I was wondering, could you share the details on those beds and the seat cover you have?...the dogs look so snug and comfy
@KevinandCarolineFerreri Thank you!! I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos- we love traveling with the dogs! The beds we have are from @k9ballistics .. they are amazing! Super durable.. we use them indoors and outdoors. Last time I checked this particular model was out of stock or maybe they're designing them differently now.. but it's the Ripstop Deep Den Dog Bed.. The seat cover is just one we ordered off of Amazon
Great video! That lake is beautiful!
So cool to see the planes fly so low like that! Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
What is the brand name of your folding table holding the stove?
Hi! It's REI brand! We bought it a few months ago and we love it.. our friends picked one up, too and they love it as well.. @REI Camp Roll Table
@@twodognite Thank you. Some of the reviews said it was a little flimsy. I have a folding plastic table but trying to downsize. It folds in half but still a bit awkward.. I have two of the Walmart alum 'cocktail' tables I guess I could put together.
@erickaesman4001 This one is metal. It's really sturdy- I pile all kinds of things on top of it. I say all the time how glad I am that we bought it 🙌 I think it was like $80 but REI has sales all the time.. I think we bought it during one of their sales
Awsome been to all these places. Keep up the great work
Thank you! I always feel like we run out of time to see so the things we want to but it's what keeps us excited to get back out on the next trip!
