You should bring some native Baltimoreans on and interview them. Too many young Black men are murdered in Baltimore City every day. Some neighborhoods look like bombed out, war torn areas. The public schools are horrible. If you have money and live in Baltimore, you might be able to innoculate yourself. But eventually, crime reaches people.

People outside of MD don't usually understand what living in "Baltimore" means. There is Baltimore CITY and Baltimore COUNTY. Big difference. I live in the County, just across the line.

I lived in Annapolis for a few months for work back in 2015 and loved it. I could have an opportunity coming to relocate to the Baltimore area for work in the near future and I'm actually pretty excited about the idea. I haven't really considered Baltimore in my search until recently, but it checks so many boxes for me it's kind of unbelievable. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Thanks for the video!

I'm from Canada but I am visiting Washington DC for President Trumps inauguration to witness history. However, I am staying in Baltimore simply for the absolute RIDICULOUS price for hotels in DC. I am looking forward to visiting and staying in Baltimore, I have caught up on every episode of The Wire in anticipation. Hopefully it won't be too cold to enjoy.

God bless you for the hustle to work in the city. The recent issues at Harbor Place was all I needed to see to know the place is doomed. I was born and raised in Bmore. I moved to central PA and haven’t looked back. I still have lots of Family in the Bmore burbs. I wouldn’t even live there. It’s expensive and loads of crime there too. The education system over the whole state is a “no go”! The problems are enormous so good luck good man!

I love living in Maryland. I’m an hour away from Bmore and DC, which is cool because they are such very different cities. DC is uptight and cultured, Bmore is the most country city ever. I know there is crime, but I have not experienced any of it in a lifetime of visiting and enjoying all the city offers. I think it people see what they want to see. The city has character, great people, and yes, Charm.

I recently started working in the city (I live in Harford county) but the other day I navigated from Fells point to BWI and traffic wasn't the best the the bigger thing I noticed was you really need to be focused because the lanes aren't well defined and people arent very courteous with lane shifting.

I live in Baltimore city and happy. Yes, i did tons of construction on a ' renovated' house but it was well worth it. I dont feel unsafe here. You just have to be aware of where you are.

I’m born, raised, lived and now retired in Baltimore. The core problem is our local government. Even the statistics are false. It’s all about political agenda is robbing the outcome. Too many free programs are undermining the progress and participation to improve the overall lifestyle. Basically if do don’t earn it you won’t take care of it… Government funding new housing programs will be ready for reconstruction in a few decades. Police aren’t allowed to fight crime. The real number would be staggering. Petty crimes, drugs, prostitution and homelessness has become prevalent. At 68 it’s too hard to relocate and reestablish your life.. We are attracting a lots of 30 something’s that are helping thing happen by getting good job and improving their neighborhoods.. the cost of living has dramatically increased in the past few years….

Mostly bull. Notice how most of what is great about Baltimore concerns being away from Baltimore? Yeh, we have a lot of hospitals for when you get mugged. Try to get a plane from BWI to NYC. SOUTHWEST AIR IS NEAR BANKRUPTCY. Sure there are safe neighborhoods, but bad folk travel. This is a real estate type….. so beware. Summer is unbreathable. Crime atop sweat. Other cities have sports teams and more, a balanced political scene. This is a crap city mentioned in the same breath as Detroit, Memphis and other “shining lights”. BE WISE…. stay away from what Baltimore degenerated into and be wise and ALIVE.

Avoid Montgomery county if you're not a) rich or b) you don't already have contacts there. Very unfriendly in Aspen Hill, and be careful of any services. Mechanics will rip you off to the limit they think they can. I could go on

The streets here are poorly maintained. If anyone is considering moving here, prepare to experience at least one bent rim thanks to our infamous potholes.

The best place to live is your Hone state or region, because of strong family support systems. There is no place like home. If you have to transplant to another person’s state connect with people who already have lived there to share a true experience. The best place for transplants in Maryland is Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, and Baltimore City. These areas have a long history of transplants who are natives from the North , West, and DC. Lots of new construction and condos going up. Best wishes. Transplants love these regions.👍

The home of the mist powerful Native American tribes and Indigenous people that still exist today. The birthplace most influential descendants of American slaves including Frederick Douglass, Thurgood Marshall, and Harriet Tubman. The footprints of the early wealthy Nobles of England and wealthy German businesses. The city is known for neighborhoods. Many ethnic groups and a transplanting generation after 1930 created their own neighborhoods. Baltimore City known for ship building. Great history. 👍
