430,000 years ago fire was discovered. Fire is a useful element as well as a dangerous one. Throughout eons of time, we have learned how to tame as well as domesticate the element to cook, light and burn things. It can burn entire cities as well as keep your apartment smelling fresh with a candle. Music: Edvard Grieg - Album for Male Voices, Op. 30 musopen.org/music/699-album-for-male-voices-op...

A Brief History on The Library of Alexandria
Переглядів 1,3 тис.4 роки тому
Today we discuss The Library of Alexandria. Hundreds of years of knowledge destroyed by the hands of man. But what went on during those years? Herbert is here to demonstrate.
The first was an instant gaming classic..just sucks that the 2nd one totally ruined the franchise and turned it away from simulators to call of duty animal.warfare
Which ones have local split screen

Cabela's 2008 2012 Dangerous Hunts 1,2 2013 Katmai,were part of my childhood
Lol even though i grew up playing Cabela's games as loved hunting games and Cabela's and deer hunter were the only titles at that time 2000-2010 the hunter classic on 2008 changed everything.
“Go to look at all the nice things you can’t afford and leave” Such a true statement
I replayed Dangerous Hunts 2011 like yesterday and to be honest I have to say It's still a great game, sure it has some weird moments but it's a genuinely enjoyable game to me, still as fun to me now as it was to me in like 2010 when I was only 4 years old, a short and sweet package that is the perfect length (I used to have the top shot elite but sadly it was sold at some garage sale) Dangerous hunts 2013 was aight, at least it had viewmodels on the xbox 360 version but to me the story wasnt as interesting and the gameplay wasnt as fun as 2011
One small thing I should add about DH 2013 is maneater was fun as fuck especially with my brother
Why did they stop making games?, i used to love their games and I still love it
they should bring the hunting game into the modern era. make it open world and you start in some small town out in the bush and you buy your guns at the shop and get quests from the townspeople. 😂 my buddy and i picked up 2009 to play one weekend and we were pissed it was a quick time event action game and not an actual hunting game like previous entries.
4;00 you do know it helps the animals right idiot?
yes, these games did not receive the best reviews. They did not have as large a player base as modern games, but I know that they gave us a wonderful childhood. I will never forget that I encountered a bear for the first time in Cabelas Dangerous Hunts, escaped from an elephant in 2009, advanced through a mountain pass full of wolves and pumas in 2011, fought with giant baboons, black lions and rhinos in 2013, and had a simulation hunting experience with advanced graphics in 2014. That's why we won't abandon these games. I thank cabelas for all of this.
The first dangerous hunts was actually one of my first games got it the day I got my ps2 and it honestly terrified me as a child
Now you all listen hear now damit cabellas 2009 is one of the legendary comtogeathers¹
i still own a copy of 2013
I was 7 when dangerous hunts 2011 came out and it was super scary as a kid and would give me nightmares😂, so then I would end up playing big game hunter or cabelas outdoor adventures 2010
Dangerous hunts 2009 had my favorite animals but had the worst gameplay mechanics (the timer). I loved the story missions and the level designs but I hated how I had to rush through. I prefer the simulators now: The Hunter Classic, Hunter Call of the Wild, TheHunter. These three come to mind since they have the animals as well as the species I hold so dear. I really wish more simulator games had species such as Hyena, Gaur or Indian Water Buffalo, Waterbuck, and so on. Stuff that isn’t represented much in slow paced simulated hunting games and is usually bypassed for more common and known animals.
The first one is actually had a great formula. Sandbox hunting simulator. It was really good because it felt challenging yet fun. While admittedly the maps did wear thin if you over played them. The variation on where animals were, what you were hunting, and what you brought to hunt is what made it enjoyable. It didn't need a story. Which is why it was so weird that they fell into this series of destroy every ecosystem of wildlife kill it all before it kills you! Like they really shoulld have stuck with the formula for the first game. Hell Alaskan Adventures was fun for this very reason. So yeah first Dangerous Hunt and Alaskan Adventures we're the best imo.
please make more this channel is awesome. I love it's humor is like internet historian.
Use to spend hours playing the 2003 game (pc), found the old cd and decided to try and replay it. Yeah my new computer fought me on that one, managed to get it to play, but the graphics were all sorts of fucked up. Haha, good memories, love those hunting games.
Something you forgot to mention, the final boss twist of 2 is a Yeti. I’m not kidding!
1:48 Local hunter kills Jim Henson Bear gets 10 years
How cool would it be had this series continued and allowed you to hunt dinosaurs?
Jurassic the Hunted was basically that, it had the same dev team as Big Game Hunter 2010/12 and Dangerous Hunts 2011/13 as well as sharing numerous assets
Stop bra I LOVED zoobooks
Solid video. I always wondered what happened to them!
I grew up as a kid playing these games. I got hooked on Big Game Hunter 2010 in 2009 and then moved on to the Dangerous Hunts games, with Dangerous Hunts 2009 being my ironic favorite game of all time with how broken it is and how great the music is. I would love to see these games return, but I doubt they’d be as fun as the OGs. Even if these were barely hunting games, I loved them regardless. RIP Cabela’s hunting games.
4:04 however I do support mass murdering animals that are high on methamphetamines like the doomslayer
My opinion I think 2013 might be my favorite the story was really awesome
I remember turning the red dot on so I could cross map a moose with a bow or hand gun. So much fun lol
Dude say in the game you got to kill every animal on god's green earth like a true American ha ha 😹😸😹
09 was the shit for me , if you want a good open world hunter play cabelas pro hunts 2014
The First one was the best one and the only good one. The rest sucked
As a kid I would play dangerous hunts 2011 untill the avalanche part and then restart because I was too scared to continue the day I went past that mission was the day I became a man
bro as a second grader i was to scared to beat the cave part once i got past that and killed that hyena bastard was the day my life changed
@@dtm67543 that game had no reason to be that frightening Fr
I had 09 and it was pretty fun and for some reason liked it lots
Good vid my guy
5:04 Man,skyrim aint got nothing on Cabela's Dangerous Hunts!
The first DH was genuinely really good, haven’t even touched the rest.
Just a little fun fact Broke History, but the original 2003 Dangerous Hunts was going to be more expansive. It was going to have African Bush Elephant, African Lion, Javelina, Lynx, Bobcat, American Bison, Blue Wildebeest, Thomson's Gazelle, Warthog, Baboon, Hippo, Nile Crocodile, Musk Ox, Stone Sheep, Jackal, and Wild Turkey as extra animals. There was going to be a few more maps too with 2 more African Maps and Three more American maps but sadly none of these ever made the final version due to time constraints. What could have been, the thought of being attacked by a turkey is hilarious.
I remember owning "dangerous hunts 2009", but never actually playing it because the lion in the first mission was too scary for me 🥴 Although seeing its main menus brought me feelings I didn't know I had :>
4:50 me neither thsoe trophy hunter are fruitcakes, all those heads in trophy rooms creepy man.
Wish these games would come back.
Dangerous Hunt series weren't hunting games, just typical shooters. guessing that's what killed them.
As silly as they were, these games rocked for my 10 year old brain.
Did you know after Hank Hill was done with king of the hill he started a UA-cam channel with the help from Bobby Hill to whose voice you can hear now 🤞 lol
was unaware of this
This is art. Michelangelo, the artist becomes the subject.
Lmfao i had a good laugh, best commentary over a game ever.
Maybe one day he shall return (Herbert I mean)
perhaps he shall
I really wonder why you stopped uploading. As I can see this is the only game you actually ,,reviewed" and yet it's such a well made video. Humor is on point and editing is really really good. I hope You come back one day reviewing some other titles. 🙂
perhaps it is because I’ve been putting all my energy towards Tik Tok. You can find me under Erc_Boi
That zoobooks commercial took me back! I remember seeing it all the time on tv in the morning before school
I played the first game alot then I think after two I fell off the series but dang it feels like the first game is so much older than 2003 I did wanna play African adventures but never got around to it
Gotta be my very first “horror” game I’ve actually BEAT (next to resident evil) the reason they scared me more was due to that it’s more realistic (obviously) and hearing a growl or roar from A good ways away ALWAYS scared the piss out of me 😭
Lol being a kid too! Haha.
