Thank you for uploading this. We had a small church in Pennsylvania, a beautiful lady sang this song... This is the best version I have found... Golly, this one just hits the heart.
I've watched this video at least 10 times the last two days! So amazing! "Did the grass sing. Did the earth rejoice to feel you again?" We'll sing this one in heaven!
Searching for this song led me here. I never thought anyone could top Sandi Patty singing this song, but I was wrong, this singer, this arrangement is the most beautiful I have ever heard and gives such honor and glory to HIM, JESUS!
He is Risen!!! A glorious message.. Thank you for expressing the joy of this this Day without end! Looking forward to a heavenly encode in person! Blessings to you and the choir until that day!
Over and over like a trumpet underground The earth seem to pound He is risen Over and over in a never ending round He is risen Hallelujah Hallelujah Gloria-a Dios
The Sandi Patty version of this song is one of my all time favourite gospel songs, but this version took this song to a new height. The lead singer so calm and confident, the choir totally enjoying it. I felt the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour listening to this rendition.
Whoever were the 9 people who have this a thumbs down need a old fashioned dose of the Holy Spirit. This soulful rendition captures the power and worship Christ has risen.
I was searching for this song as it is probably my favorite Easter song. I listened to Sandi Patti sing it throughout my childhood. I was so moved by this version. So powerful!! Great job!
Wow! Praise God! Our church, New Covenant Fellowship in Champaign, has sung this every Easter since the mid-80s, as I remember, and I've never failed to weep for joy. But THIS is on another level! An incredibly powerful performance and worship experience in every way. PLEASE, someone, post the identity of this church. I Googled "Harvest Bible Chapel," as mentioned in an earlier post, only to discover that there are seven congregations in the Chicago area.
There are several HBC plants in the Chicago area. All connected. This was filmed at Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows but you may also get your questions answered at Harvest Bible Chapel in Elgin. If you think it is on another level it may be because it is. The vocalist is Heather Headely. If you are not familiar with her Google her. She is God gifted.
This may just be the most exciting and inspiring version of this song and I first heard it 37 years ago, and not by Sandi Patti but by the writer of the song, our music minister at Reba Place Fellowship in Evanston, Il. Jim Croegaerdt led our Easter Service with this song for 10 years before Sandy Patti recorded it.
A neighbor to Reba Place, I was part of their Teen Group in the mid-1970's and spent part of a summer or two in Tiskilwa. I vividly remember Jim on the piano. Nice memories.
We have sung this song along with a special dance at our church-community here in Winnipeg (daughter community to Reba Place) every Easter for over 30 years. Thanks for sharing this great version.
Glad to read others giving a shout out to Jim croegaert, a humble and heartful lyricist and musician I had the honor of hearing perform this song at Reba place church pre-Sandy Patti and who rejoiced to have that big gospel name give it a big exposure boost.

I really appreciate how Heather Headley worships so openly. You’d never know that she’s a Broadway star.

Yeah, this song really blew us away at Plow Creek as well. Also remember Eagles Wings and others by Jim from when I was a kid.
