Will You ever be Monetized on YouTube or should You just Give Up?!
How ever to be Monetized on UA-cam? This video is for you who, like me, are frustrated by how slow it is to get Monetized on UA-cam. The journey to a Monetization seems endlessly long and even if we do everything right, it's just as if nothing works or makes a difference.
How to make money online from UA-cam? How to earn just a few pocket money or even make it a living from UA-cam Monetization via the UA-cam Partner Program. It is perhaps something that interests many of us. But is it even possible and worth the effort to try to make money on UA-cam and to chase that Monetization?
That Algorithm that we all pray to, does it even watch our videos, and why doesn't it give us any help along the way?
I've gotten to the point where I'm considering giving up. Perhaps you are also in that place right now? But I also hear from all the "experts" that this is precisely the most widespread reason why people do not succeed, namely that they give up.
So, how can we continue and maintain both motivation and production?
In this video I talk about finding your big "Why" and your driving force. And I'm talking about what mental focus is important to be able to continue both working for it and believing in it.
Wanting to make money on UA-cam is definitely possible, but it doesn't come easy. You have to work both hard and long to get to the point where you can become part of UA-cam's partner program and thus be Monetized.
And even then, it is important to have both a topic, a niche, an audience and a passion for what you do, so that your channel can grow continuously.
The 4000 Watch Hours and 1000 Subscribers does NOT mean you start making money on UA-cam. You need a lot more Views to make money on UA-cam and especially if you want to make it your main income.
This therefore requires both a good subject, niche, a large and loyal audience AND it requires you to love what you do. Because otherwise you won't be able to keep spending so many working hours and energy on it.
In this video I want to talk about motivation, passion, patience, persistence and the like. And it will all be about whether you should give up or keep going. The big question that many of us ask ourselves.
Many of us are chasing that chrome-plated Monetization, but is it even worth all the trouble and effort?
I don't have the answer just for you, but I can hopefully help and inspire you to find the answer yourself.
If you have any comments or questions, feel free to leave a comment here 😊
As always, please consider subscribing, liking and sharing. I will appreciate that very much and be really happy.

    It looks as if the outer tent touches the inner tent in wet or cold wheatear conditions. Is that the case in your experience? This is also my experience with the Svalbard SI model. I don't like it when the inner tent get's whet.

    Hi there! Thanks for the review! I was wondering if you've had any problems with condensation inside the tent so far. I read a few comments about this on some websites and I'm wondering if this tends to happen only in humid/cold climates... But since I would be using it for summer only (and I assume you are doing that at the moment, too), I would imagine it's not really a problem. Would you be able to confirm this? Or give any input? Cheers!

    • @wilderways
      @wilderways 9 днів тому

      Hi, and thanks for your question. In general, there will be a lot more condensation in tents made of polyester than in tents made of e.g. cotton. It mostly depends on how well the tent fabric can breathe. That said, I have experienced a lot of condensation in my expensive tent from Nordiske, so it is not necessarily the price that makes the difference. And maybe it has something to do with its water resistance, but I'm not sure of this. Anyway, condensation occurs when moist air meets a cold surface, so the more ventilation, the less condensation. This can be, for example, on cold nights and mornings. As you also mention, I have only tried the tent on hot summer days so far, so I don't actually know how it will be now when it starts to get colder. The temperature will probably have to drop quite a bit more before serious condensation will start to form. I will have to follow up on this. If you yourself gain some experience in this regard, you are of course also very welcome to share them here 🙂

    • @wilderways
      @wilderways 18 днів тому

      Hi, and thanks for your question. The tent is 230 cm long, so there should be plenty of room for you. However, you should be aware that (as you can see in the pictures) the angle on the sides at the front and back is very steep, so if you use a thick/high mattress, you will also get closer to the tent canvas with your head and feet. But again, if you are 6'3 tall and the tent is about 7'55 there is some extra space 🙂

    I have the same backpack by 5.11, but in Double Tap. It’s a great backpack for international travel, however, you have to be careful NOT to overload it. Depending on what domestic airlines you fly (in my case, Alaska Airlines), a fully packed backpack will not fit inside the overhead compartment. I wound up checking it in with my other check-in luggage with no extra charge. International airlines was no problem because the overhead compartment was spacious enough for the backpack to be stored. Great video, my man. 🍻

    • @wilderways
      @wilderways 24 дні тому

      Yes, I was actually also curious about whether it would be approved as hand luggage on flights. But I've taken it on flights (international) a few times now and there are no issues. But you are right that you should not fill it too much. There is a weight limit and there are also some size limits that must be observed. So you have to pay attention to the width and height if they check. Anyway, thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it 🙂

      Well, actualy I found out later that the car has a bottom plate in the boot, which can be lifted and placed in specially designed slots, so that the floor is completely flat. @@shellsbells373 You can definitely do some star-gazing through the glass roof 🙂 And about the length, I did the test with the trunk closed, so my 175 cm height is with the rear door closed. Hi Wilderways, thanks for your review! You don't mention attaching the groundsheet to the outer tent; is that possible? Our Hilleberg Nallo 4GT is also a tunnel tent and after 14 years it is done; the nylon deteriorated by the sun. We never used some SI treatment; you mention something about that. So we now thinking about the Nordisk Oppland 3. In your review I see that you have to put bot pole ends in a hole; with the Hilleberg Nallo the pole sleeve has a sock at one end. I also saw that on a Oppland 2.0 version; but I am confused on the information of Nordisk on which models they have that or will have that. So the Oppland SI will be a good choice after seeing your video; thanks again.

    • @wilderways
      @wilderways Місяць тому

      Hi. The groundsheet itself (footprint) cannot be attached to the outer tent. It is bought separately, and as I show in the video, you first attach the footprint to the ground with the included pegs, and then you just place the Oppland tent on top, so to speak. But the inner tent has its own floor. The SI impregnation is already on the outer tent when you buy it, so it is not something you have to apply yourself. This gives the tent better protection and a longer life. The 3 tent poles must be fixed in a hole or ring on each side of the outer tent. If you then secure the outer tent at one end with a peg, you can raise the entire tent by simply pulling on the opposite end and it stands up. Very easy. I hope you find your right tent and enjoy it 🙂

      So far I have only tested the tent in my forest garden. I had it with me on a trip and also got to set it up, but had to interrupt the trip due to too bad weather, so I didn't get to sleep in it unfortunately. However, I experienced that it was very easy and quick to set up, it was easy to carry and it also seems quite large inside, I think.

      @@SamSamh21 However, I haven't tried the tent in the rain yet, so I don't know how well it keeps the rain out. It still needs to be explored. Have a great trip 🙂🌲🌳

    Use the "diagonal", you will gain a few cm. I myself usually transport 3 pairs of Skis: 174, 177 and 181 cm. In the double bottom I carry a complete spare wheel, two folding camping chairs, snow chains, rescue material and tools and then it is almost flat. Greetings

      Thanks for your really good suggestions. Yes, I also tried lifting the slab in the double bottom and it gave a much more even floor. This of course removes the possibility that I can have storage boxes in the "recess", but it is clearly better with the flat floor. I also use the option of lying diagonally, but it kind of obstructs the space for all my other comping things, such as kitchen things and such. But all in all, it's all fixable, so I'll definitely have some fantastic trips out into nature.

      Ha ha, well it wasn't on purpose, but funny you noticed. It (the oven) sounds really happy when I mention and feel the "wings" 😄🐦
