Get there faster, as in get there with faster clubhead speed, correct?
@@Gabster2790 yep faster club speed 👍

@@gregoryderwin3152 He is right but he doesn't show how to get there , you can't just keep the sternum down the pelvis doesn't allow that it has to be done by the left shoulder with right arm extension.
@@BradHawkins-golf I’m happy your teaching/theory which is borne of trial and error, and frustration in your game is being validated by someone like Chris Como who’s generally a house hold name in the teaching realm. Keep up the work. I know it’s helped me as my major faults were right side everything thrust, early extension ; losing posture ever early.
@@gregoryderwin3152 Thanks very much mate , that's great news 👌
This reminds me of liam Robson swing technique moving into and over the ball. Do you need to create space in the back swing or to you stay tilted over the ball all the time.
@@BenSmith-ub9je I'm not trying move "into" the ball vertical thrust is not a good move I rotate around my spine right hip backswing left hip downswing , there is a slight shift but at no time am I trying to move toward the ball , left tilt is to stop the right field pitch toward the ball . Backswing is narrow downswing needs to be wide , if you watch my video on right arm extension it will show you 👍
@BradHawkins-golf hmm thanks Brad awesome content keep it up.

Mate, can’t thank you enough for these lessons!! I’m now slicing on demand only. Any other shot is dead straight or if I want a bit more distance, I have a nice draw. Amazing tips!
@@Gabster2790 👌👍
Any tips on your feeling as you hit the ball? For example, Left shoulder down, turn chest? or something like that...I am trying to imagine that part. Thanks!
I don't try to hit the ball by any means , by getting into left tilt I use my body rotation to turn through the ball and let it happen
@@BradHawkins-golf Okay that is very interesting. I can't actually imagine doing that because obviously I hit the ball wrong right now. I'll try what you said, thanks
@@mcgolfer1221 When I say don't try to hit at the ball most golfers who do get a vertical pull down move which steepens the shaft straighten the spine and the right hip pitches towards the ball then the arms get stuck that's a right field move , we need the arms to stay in front of the body and the pelvis go stay back which is what a left tilt move provides thus you are never obstructed by your own body .
Not exactly sure what left tilt is - left shoulder down on downswing?
@@m00sehead000 Left tilt stops the right shoulder going in and under and the right hip pitching towards the ball which brings the hands into play and the two way miss , by getting the left shoulder down it keeps the sternum down the pelvis back and allows the arms to rotate freely 👍
This is true and has to be because we see positions caught in frames and assume moves to get there. Whereas something else is happening and those positions are the consequence. That’s why the other day when I was talking about releasing the club from the top it would never actually end up In a cast because of the shifting of my weight, tilting of my side and opening of my hips and shoulders. For me a release early helps with tempo and attempts to keep my swing in sync because I’m very very used to my club head being behind my hands as I get closer to impact. I might like your extension of the right arm better. I’m a big time in to out path guy, and it’s just terrible. the tilt left with right arm extension will be tried in the next few days here. As of now the only trouble I’m foreseeing is the different lengths of clubs needing different timing of right arm extension and or release.
This is great. I found when i have a feeling of hitting the ball with my sternum, it keeps me in posture, shallows the club, and promotes great contact and compression.
@@B.Rights Fantastic 👍
I’m pretty sure your speaking to my swing brother- super frustrating playing golf with the unpredictability of the two way directional misses. Not to mention the contact issues of fat and thin.
@@gregoryderwin3152 If you follow my insta send a vid there 👍
Just come across your work Brad, I love the left tilt concept as a largely self taught amateur, the left tilt to me is an intuitive feel but the extension and timing I’m keen to try out. Extension feels the most intuitive yet in the mirror but I’ll take it to the range and see how it goes!
@@SJGolfs Yep need both to work , otherwise the shaft will pitch over .
What about your driver swing? Can you share what you are doing to stop the two ways, stuck and losing posture with the driver? I feel like left tilt will work for irons but is it the same for a person with these swings faults and their driver? Thank you.
@@gregoryderwin3152 left tilt is more important with the driver I have that video on here as well as Instagram left tilt stops the two way miss . Absolutely for the driver the key is to get right arm extension to get the shaft horizontal.
@@BradHawkins-golf sounds right because when you have these types of misses they’re tremendously exaggerated with the driver. I was , only for what seemed like a hot minute, hitting the ball very pure this summer extending the club away from me from the very top of the swing, “releasing early”… I guess this is what you mean by right arm extension? eventually after that glory period the two ways, drop kicks, right fields and left came back. I guess extending the right arm or “releasing early” was helping the timing of my club face but the true reason for the misses were still there; loss of posture , early extension, right knee moving towards the golf ball during down swing, butt off the wall, humping the goat etc etc etc
@@gregoryderwin3152 No mate , you don't "release the club early " I would say your throwing the wrist or losing your wrist condition which is a cast and that's just as bad as pulling handle in ! I extend the right arm not the wrists
I'm so confused. R u claiming that u swing over the top? Cos u don't at all. Ur point is not very clear.
@@biggurl4118 yep my body is steep meaning I'm on top of it that's left tilt ! Obviously my club is shallow horizontal that's why hit shots on trackman it doesn't lie ...
Love this. I had this very same epiphany earlier this week (after 3 years of playing golf seriously). So good to see someone else confirming what the right feel is during the swing. Early extension was killing my swing, especially with driver and this feel has helped massively. Nice one 👍🏽
@@Fezpro1 Thanks very much mate , watch the driver swing video I did on left tilt as well 👍😎
@@BradHawkins-golf I will for sure!! Need all the help I can get ha ha. Just treated myself to a new big dog (G430) and keen to give it a few hits for the first time tomorrow. I want to do it justice and not slice it off to the right every time 😂. When I got fit he told me my stance was too wide and ball position too far back. This feel of body needing to be over the top I think is the missing puzzle piece towards a better swing and more clubhead speed for sure. I’m 6’2” and can swing hard but my clubhead speed was barely 95mph and distance around 250 total on a really good day. I think I can easily top both of those but have felt mega restricted for some reason. I think it’s defo too wide a stance and being back on my heels instead of….over the top!! 😎
Looks nice bro
Is it just less force in the downswing or also less of a backswing ?
