As a man, I just feel this weird positive but strong feminine energy coming off of them when I see interviews or when I see their live performances....I like how they changed my ideas on fashion.....it was st first something that was just some arbitrary value that is valueless in a cosmic sense.....but they really are changing that thought for myself.....why not fashion jn the sense they approach it, play important roles in identity, in getting people to think, use it to get people out of their comfort zones, to question the depths that human creativity can take us in terms of being kn touch with both mind and emotion.they make me feel all this simultaneously....I can't explain any better than that. Amazing human beings who's creativity is not bounded by corporate whims of what's beautiful or repulsive, etc.

As a gender non-binary person who has considered top surgery, I wonder if Bianca truly wants top surgery in order to make a "statement for women" like Sierra said or if they want it because they have gender dysphoria and do not identify as a woman? I do not presume to know Bianca better than their own sister does, I've just never heard of anyone getting top surgery for that reason... I recognize that this was several years ago and if I watch more interviews of them, I may find my answer, but if anyone knows more please let me know. I love CocoRosie and want to understand them both as much as I can. 💗

"Pre-Raphaelite" is a fantastic way of describing Sierra's natural beauty, I love that. She has very masculine proportions in her face (wide space between her eyes and chin, strong jaw etc) and I think that makes her a bit androgynous, let alone the makeup and clothing she experiments with in CocoRosie. But yeah, she's really interesting. As is Bianca.
