Well i do know for a fact that Quincy jones was producing Ringo's solo album and he said Ringo was not drumming well enough so he called up a session drummer to get the beat Ringo couldn't and when Ringo came back from lunch he let him hear what he couldn't do and told this isnt you its my drummer MF 😂

At one point Ringo did leave because he thought they were trying to replace him and he came back and they worked it out

It's Pete's own fault being an introvert and not trying to get better as a drummer. Besides Ringo is the most well liked by his band mates from the beginning to the end

I respect Oasis and what they did and represented. But all their songs kind of sounded the same to me. You heard 3 or 4, you heard 'em all. Blur was a lot more adventurous and creative IMO. I didn't always like every song, but respected their conscious decision to challenge themselves artistically.

Love is stronger than hate

The Replacements, XTC, Big Star, Jellyfish and in the US I would say British bands like The Specials or even The Stone Roses, there are many really. Jeff Buckley and Elliot Smith have always been underrated but are gaining recognition thanks to the internet.

Gender didn’t matter to us, we just wanted great music, so don’t put something there that wasn’t. I was there, as was the female singer of our little band in Belfast. Your post hindsight feminist agenda doesn’t belong.
