Flint Guitar School was created in January 2022 to help new musicians in the North Wales area learn guitar and bass. Membership has grown from strength to strength and members of the school have started performing live together.

Barre Chords - NOT hard but very useful

We can be put off by barre chords but if we take them in tiny chunks we can play them easily and still maximise the benefit
The chords give you the notes to play at anytime !!!

Once you know the chords work together then each note from each chords can be played at any time … including open strings …. Play about … it’s fun!!!

Slightly more to this in that there are 4-5 chords in the pre chorus and chorus while the intro and verse has just 2. Interesting vibe in that because the A chord is ASU’s which is neither major or minor … the song pulls your ear so to speak ..

Sex Pistols classic on and acoustic. Mainly posting for Mark re the strumming pattern. It’s an easy song, you’re only playing 5th chords so 2 fingers. The hard part is the speed. I wanna hear the whole school playing this next week 🤣
