Love these games, Part 1 a Final Fantasy story, Part 2 one of the best time travel games ever, Part 3 a Groundhog Day type game. I have some new games coming out in the next couple months, between games I always revisit old games, I think the Final Fantasy XIII series is next. Lastly, am I the only one who thought playing through Part 2 that Noel and Serah belonged together, not Serah and Snow, they had more in common, especially since Snow just disappeared.

This ending must have given the people who worked on it some seriously sadistic pleasure. Holy hell is this dark

I miss the era before 2020

Just played this game. I should have freaking known! As soon as I realized we were playing as Serah in this game, I thought that was really sus, then I get about halfway through the game and start really liking her character, then near the end i'm worrying they're gonna kill her off, then after I beat Caius and Serah was still alive I thought hell yea, they didn't kill her, she lives! Then she just freaking drops dead 😡 Sick bastards waited until the last second to kill her after making me play the whole game as her and end up liking her alot lol. Oh yea, then when I went to the newly unlocked Vahalla world after beating the game, they make me watch Serah's corpse strung up with black tar looking crap pouring out of her eye sockets!

Where in the game does that scene come from? Because in the first Final Fantasy XIII game, at the end everyone reunites... Serah reunites with her sister.. And in this part, of that scene, Serah's sister is not there... What could have happened.?

It fucking broke me remember this like i use to play ff without context i keep skipping the cutscenes cause it too long so went i get the ending i be like well fuck but the gamw can do better tho the battle suck little bit

Snow.. Yeul..who?! Noerah is so cute and organic duo with great bond (platonic or romantic whatever). Maybe in the different timeline Noel is Serah's Guardian and they continue to travel together🤗

3:48: Even you know it was coming, as a grown ass man, - 10 yrs after finishing the game - tears still burning, especially when Noel's scream at 4:03 hits you through marrow and bone.... Very unhappy plottwist and ending, but it makes the story exceptionally intruiging.

What’s really cool about this game is at the main characters are in love with each other like usual they are just really good friends. I became very close through all the stuff that’s happened between them. I don’t think noel is in love with Sarah. I think he is in love with yeul but seeing his closest friends die the same way his loved ones that is going to mess with him

Till this day I can't get over the poetic irony of playing a pop love song simultaneously while THE MAIN CHARACTER IS DYING! 😆 It's almost as if its all meant to subvert your expectations while being true to stereotypical Final Fantasy endings where nowadays they end in pop songs to symbolize a happy ending😅. i love it.

Kick ass intro for a sequel ever

I get that they really wanted to lead into the next game and give a cliffhanger ending, but straight up having everything go bad just ends up leaving the player unsatisfied, they should've done something like KH1 where there's a glimmer of more to come rather than just end at tragedy happening everywhere, and just recount the bad things that happened at the start of the next game heck that's EXACTLY what this game did, the ending of XIII wrapped everything up really nicely, but the start of this game showed that something bad happened right after that ending, and the game jumps off that

This ending will always make me angry about how they choose to end the saga in Lightning Returns, Noel and Serah spend a fking game fighting together and he doesn't even acknowledge she existed in the last game wtf... Honestly for me the saga ends with this game 😶

Knowing Serah's fate is why I never finished the game. I didn't even bother fighting Cias for the final time.

When i finish this game, it was a big shock, the happy ending music, serah's death and the music still on, and then valhalla is unleash, with the voice of caius explaining all, Noel feeling guilty...and then lightning turned into crystal...Caius won...wow
