Florida Nature Coast
United States
Приєднався 1 бер 2020
Our goal is to showcase features of Florida's Nature Coast. We cater to travelers, explorers, and adventurers ... and want to help them find more places to go and things to do. To accomplish this goal we operate a website where you can use an interactive map to find parks, preserves, cities & towns, attractions, and annual events. We do this mostly for residents of the Nature Coast - but also know that people from all over the world are looking for information about our special part of Florida.
Our website contains detailed articles with descriptions of all of these interesting places and events, including pictures, and in many cases a "Quick Tour" video. This UA-cam page includes all of the videos we have done highlighting features of Florida's Nature Coast.
We also maintain a presence on Facebook. Our Facebook "Florida Nature Coast Group" - is a great place to ask questions and post pictures of your own experiences while exploring the Nature Coast.

excellent vid - thanks for the map too
Awesome video! Way to go.
Beautiful old mammoth trail
Can you fish here?
Very good video
I’ve seen some damn big rattlesnakes in those woods 😳😳
What about skunk apes
Do you believe in skunk apes there
My parents lived there for a few years in the 90’s. He did grouper fishing and crabbing. It was a great little off the beaten path fishing and drinking village….lol
Thank you for posting this! This is by far the best video I have found to really give me a feel for the dock area and the walk path up to the Lighthouse. Hubby is disabled and walks with a quad cane. I was a little concerned about him being able to visit at an upcoming open house. Now, I am fairly certain he can get on & off of the shuttle boat with a little assistance from me, and I know he will be able to negotiate the pathway after seeing this. Plus, your video showed chairs on the porch area, so if he needs to sit down, he can. :)
Dad would bring us here in the 70s and 80s to fish for speckled trout. In the evenings we'd go eat at Roy's and watch the mullet boats come in.
No voice explaining this video. 😎👎
I agree, not only should you see what is happening but you should HEAR what is happening. Remember Radio?
How far away is this park from the Withlacoochee Bike Trail? Can you ride from the campground to the bike trail? Is there a dump station?
The south terminus of the Withlacoochee State Trail is at US Highway 98 at the Owensboro Junction trailhead. That's almost 10 miles from Withlacoochee River Park. You would need to ride south on US98 to River Road, then east to the park. I believe there is a sidewalk most of the way down 98, but all-in-all, not a great bike route. There are 15 RV sites at the Withlacoochee River Park campground with 50 amp electric hookups. But not sure if there is a dump station.
@@floridanaturecoast Yes, there is a dump station there.
Bee-you-tea-full .....
Really excellent video...thank you.
just booked a vacation for next june
My family is buried in the Waters Memorial cemetery. Allen, Mills, Hester. We had a homestead not far from the cemetery off of Mills Rd. There are a lot of unmarked graves on the old property marked with field stones predating the Civil War.
best boardwalk in Pasco County that I'm aware of
Steinhatchee is still Old Fla and as we know there isn't much Old Fla left these days ,, Beautiful nature,, incredible fishing / scalloping and a handful of great bars / restaurants that's Steinhatchee Fla 💯 🔥
Love the music and the drone footage. It was lovely.
Awesome Video Thanks
Nice
Is this house still avaliable to rent
Water levels are perfect here right now for exploring
Can you paddle (from Rogers Park) in either direction. I thought it was a one way from Weekie Wachee water Park to Rogers Park
Yoou can launch at Rogers Park and paddle upstream to Weeki Wachee Springs. Or you can paddle downstream to the Gulf of Mexico.
Me acuerdo cuando vivía ahí
Great video and explanation....except that the music is very annoying.
Strange that the pier at keen reives Park Newport Richey FL is made out of inferior grade wood that is not just more experience in the long run but is becoming very dangerous, I just did a quick inspection and I found large pieces of wood missing. And they used inferior grade fasteners ! This is substandard for residential duty. Why does this town get substandard materials ? With so many $ 500000. Home's near by and they can't afford to keep the children safe with all that tax money ,, what an outrage. We don't even get Cyprus mulch in the play ground like other cities we get pine chips full of sap . Well, we did get a very nice aluminum and railing . And they did a few patches on the intrance road but didn't. Do everything. And after only complaining for about three years that someone was trying to kill people with the gates, they will replaced it , and their was a speed limit sign that was way too fast for the area next to where the bike rider got killed by a vehicle , well some complaining got it removed. That mistake should have prompted a review of the area and then they would have moved the stop signs with the wrong amount of set back . I can go on and on. The lights at Sims park to cross the road are a total death trap , as so many people don't know to stop and will hit the pediatricians. Fdot is not making repairs and people keep getting hurt including my self. Don't worry , when a handycapt person has to citizen arrest a terrorist causing car and bikes to crash, the police arevright behind me to let him go ! I guess I should have arested the police too , The police and fire department use military technology and they can't even figure out the obvious ? The bike lane is also sabatodged , due to the over lap of pavement in the middle of it. Is this stuff that difacult to figure out or do they want us to die or be injured ?

Awesome video!
I did my first skydiving here in 2015. Fantastic and awesome!! Hope that I can do it again sooooon~~
Wow! Awesome 👍👍👍👍 thanks for sharing 😀
Do you think a trolling motor would push an inflatable boat upstream from Rodgers Park? Is the current too strong?
I have no experience with trolling motors ... but the current in the Weeki Wachee River is generally about 2 to 3 MPH - maybe a bit faster in narrow or shallow sections.
@@floridanaturecoast ok thank you
Very beautiful area I sped a lot of time there.
I live here, what if we run into each other 😂
Samw
I think that was a sturgeon jumping in the Swanee river.
Good chance Brian Laundrie is here
The school paid for by taxpayers but you can't use it, it should be opened after hours for people to enjoy their tax money at work.
👁 👁 Take at look at the Jennifer Petsch Dade City Lights Festival video on UA-cam
Buildings parking lots and cages..
Great video my man
Looks like a nice place to hike.
Ugh, super crowded. I'd love to find an island like this nearby to have to myself for a campout.
This is a typical weekend. Go on a weekday and you might have it all to yourself
How do you get there on a kayak?
Easiest way is to launch from Brasher Park at the end of Koons Drive in Port Richey.
Very nice tour of Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. We are weekend adventures travelling around visiting the State Parks. We just Subbed and will be following. Come by and say hi.
Good job on the video! Nice sound track.
This is one my favorite places on earth!
what are you shooting this on?
This video was shot with a GoPro Hero5 and a DJI Mavic drone.
Serenity
Nice! I was there just last week.
Nice drone work. I am going there after Christmas. Looks great!
