Ice skating on virgin ice in the Polder 2024
Some nice pictures of the only moment that it was possible to do some iceskating in our Polder. The brave two are Geert and Desiree. What a joy to have a drone available.

Together with my friend Chris Arundell we made a trip in Wales to visit the great little trains. On our first stop we stayed in Conwy and there we went to see the famous railway bridge which leads into Conwy right under the Castle. We loved being there and had a great evening.

Flying with Chris in his Piper Warrior

I tried to film my friend Chris while he had a flight in a Piper warrior, it wasn`t easy because there was a very strong side wind and it was a very bumpy flight. I liked it very much to be up there and so did Chris. Always fun these small airplanes. The flight was at Norwich airport while the red arrows where there, they just came in from a show.

Together with my friend Joop we had a meeting with the owner and builder of this beauty Jan Westerink. I would call him a master builder, what a man. Many thanks to him and his wife Joke for having us around and doing this steam testing with this beautiful launch. At the end of the video you can see the builder with his latest creation a single cilinder engine.

Thanks Terry, yes for a camera man these kind of drones are a dream come thru, I love it also sometimes it is nerve wrecking but the results can be great, a total different view on things.

Het is dat ik weet dat jij het voorste bemanningslid was... Verder vind ik het een fraai beeld van een fraaie machine. Ben benieuwd naar de complete film.

Mooi hè? Toen ik daar was stond die windmolen er nog niet.
Ik vond de molen wel erg mooi in de achtergrond. Is nog een heel eind van de lift vandaan. Een prachtig stuk techniek en mooi dat ze het bewaard hebben.
Mooi filmpje. Maar ik zie een reflexievlek terwijl je van de zon af filmt. Hoe kan dat?
Wanneer je goed kijkt zie je later de schaduw van de drone in dit heldere vlak opdoemen. Het moet een opties effect wezen, had het zelf ook nog nooit zo gezien.

Qua geluid is het zeker indrukwekkend en natuurlijk het vermogen, was een lust om te zien en te horen.
Hij is weer fijn Joachim. Neem je een volgend keer ook een shot van het spandoek van Het Spaarne aan het hek? Lukt dat niet dan heb ik gelukkig de foto nog.
Bedankt Gert-Jan, Ik had het spandoek niet gezien maar a.s. Zaterdag hoop ik weer te filmen met nu de boten aan de steigers en dan neem ik ook het spandoek mee, beloofd.
Fraai! Ik ga morgen(dinsdag)middag kijken en foto's maken. Heb van Dirk-Jan gehoord dat morgen het bouwen va het gebouw begint.
Dan ga ik deze week ook nog proberen wat opnamen te maken, het schiet nu dan wel echt op.

Geweldig mooi gedaan Bram en Frits! Onvergetelijk. Als ik John Mayer afspeel met die drum intro denk ik ook nog altijd terug aan deze bijzondere dagen met jullie. Dit jaar herfst alweer 5 jaar geleden! Misschien tijd om het nog eens te doen na 5 jaar?

Excellent video quality you are a real expert drone pilot . music reminds me a bit too much of 1970s prog rock though when I always preferred something a little more punk.Seriousley though its great.
I`m glad that you like it and the music is just what I could get for free, it is not my first choice. The pictures are the main thing.

Met spijt in mijn hart moet ik meedelen, dat de kap noodzakelijk was. De boom was onder in de stam aan het rotten. We liepen daardoor het risico, dat de boom bij een stevige westerstorm om zou vallen. De huizen in de Beethovenlaan liepen daardoor gevaar.
Inderdaad, heb het zelf gisteravond kunnen zien, behoorlijk verrot van binnen, erg jammer, was zeer beeld bepalend in de buurt en een goede wind indicator.
