Yes!! Using beautiful and effective skincare can affect mental health! As an Esthetician, I love gorgeous smelling products beautifully packaged, that work! This needs to be addressed going forward in this industry. Look at Lancome, Tatcha, Nuxe, Shiseido.

At first Tina says it's all about the consumer. Yes if all you desire is profit. Skincare needs to be about putting in stores what is good for skin and attractive and pleasant to use. Loreal Plentitude was a nice beautiful line bought everything, 3 months later gone, out of stores. Why cater to the consumer? As pros, put out there attractive products that work. Take advice from a French pharmacy! So far ahead from American boring stores and dull products, like Cera Ve. Women want upliftment with their skincare, I do, nice packaging, like Tatcha! Beautiful products or Lancome, also love!

I stumbled upon a dermatologist on YT or somewhere on the internet years ago. He pointed out that we “wash” our skin too often because of our preconceived notion that we are not clean unless we scrub off the dirt. What dirt? Most of us work indoors and are rarely exposed to any sort of dirt or dirty stuff. It reminded me of when I was a child. We only took a bath (not shower) on Saturday night. All other days we did a bird bath. I’m on that downhill side of life now, but my skin is in pretty good condition and I plan to keep it that way. Skin is our largest organ and, sadly, it’s totally overlooked.
