Ah yes the testing of jobs, some of the jobs I haven’t really been able to take advantage of is gambler and Pictomancer (tho that really has changed in my second playthrough) I have some really cool combos like arcanist electron when my whole party nullifies lightning (heck the main tank even absorbs it) making it so I can just use it, for hellblade I paired it with Phantom and I was dealing about 4k damage with a single blade, it’s so fun to just expierment at this point in the game and find some very fun combos

I myself came in liking this game a bit more than the others! But I can see where you are from!

At first I wasn’t really doing sidequests at this point or in BD2 I did some and not all, That painting sidequest tho made me stop that, I can’t help but laugh so hard with Gloria’s and Adele’s painting, I so far relate to Adele’s painting as this would be my skill ceiling for drawing

Something I recently learned is that, Shakedown (the special ability) can keep stealing items if you use it over and over again, even if you've already stolen them (either with Shakedown or Steal, or Mug probably). It's not the most efficient way of farming steal items, but it's still interesting.

I remember cheesing most of the early bosses with poison. Not sure if I am just bad at the game (despite not remembering having many problems with Bravely Default or Bravely Second) or if the game just expected my to grind a whole lot more - but I just felt nothing except poison would deal actual damage against bosses for way too long.

As an addition to Summoner’s positives; they just look really cool. Love Black Mages to death, but nothing compares to summoning an enormous, otherworldly creature to deal damage to your foes. And, as we all know, rule of cool trumps all else

I remember getting hit by Godspeed Strike from the boss, and it was devastating to me. I'm not the most optimized player, but getting hit with a crushing move in a game adds that sense of terror. I do also love the spider web motif on Thief, and I really like the dress approach to thief.

Beastmaster, the most broken job thanks to it's second specialiy *Creature Comforts* which increases stats based on the amount of beasts captured. It's a good subjob (if you have Sub-Job Speciality 2) or a main job as long as you don't go bellow 20% HP. It's great for both physical and especially magic jobs! It's the first job with more than 2 passives having a wopping *5* passives, a first for Bravely Default 2 so far. Took long enough -.- MP Saver is good for mages since they need MP to attack. It's the equivalent to Vampire or Catmancer, or if you prefer the Final Fantasy job archetypes, it's the Blue Mage, where you get skills from foes, but instead of learing them permanently you capture them, thus being finite. Also there's a strange fadeout at 2:00, it sound's like you were running away or something like that

Ah Thief, it's one of those jobs. Mechanically it's a combination of BD1 and BS's Thief, being able to steal HP and MP, while getting offensive wind skills in contrast of it's wind resist skill from BD1. Also it has a whooping 6 passives, so far a record amount as far as jobs go, which is rare for BD2 jobs. However my main gripe with this job is it's second speciality, *Up to No Good* , where it makes defaulting just reduce damage, thus making the *DEFAULT* part of *BRAVELY DEFAULT* _USELESS_ ! I'm aware that defaulting is the least useful in BD2, but still, to make it useless is baffling. Whatever the devs were on when making this speciality was really brain-rotting because why would you do that! Also the tradition of Goddspeed Strike being broke continues, at least that much is retained. Oh and the 5th chapter name of this video is from Beastmaster and not Thief, you might want to fix that

I really have been digging your new format for BD2 job overviews! Snappy but very informative! And Thief is a job I just can’t live without when replaying this one, and it’s Posh and snobby vibes that bleed into every aspect of its design are what keep me yearning to loot some pockets!

Thief is really crazy honestly like I love its kit, steal breath and steal courage synergies well with one another, and you know helpsn fuels Godspeed strike which I kind of banned in my second playthrough due to it being god speed strike, I love it’s drip and I love getting items, I get a Nueron activation whenever I stand 4 times booster buns from a enemy

I know the fight with the related asterisk holder doesnt factor in, but unironically I think bernard is one of my favorite bosses in this game because he perfectly wields the power of a thief compared to Jackal from BD1 (which is a shame cause character wise I do like Jackal more) Bernard doesn't care about swiping pathetic potions. He'll steal your buffs, your HP directly, or even the ever so valuable BP you've been trying to save. He REALLY shows what the thief can do and even now his fight is still stuck in my mind.

I like how the keys or just like a chain do you know the ones that are circles inside? Another iron circle is exactly the same the key at this how I see it.

I have a question if you have freelancer as a main job and mastered it with late bloomer (with every job mastered) and use bravebrave bearers sub job specialty 2 then have beast master as the sub job gaining creature comforts does the stat bonuses stack?

Going to admit right now, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Adam’s fight, the music is just flat out amazing as you hear his first part which fills you with dread a little bit but then it switches to a more heroic theme like finally your going to take this guy down, for every city in the world for the crystals and for sir solan He will fall, I also love the concept of the fight too, someone who uses their own hp to damage you but has a slight regen so you have to act fast, deathstorm is also really cool being 10 hits, unfortunately if you elemental supplement him, he becomes a cake walk as if you supplement him with lighting and say all your team is immune to lighting it overwrites whatever blades he has, still such an amazing fight and I love it so much

HELLBLADE. This… THIS is why I didn’t want to spoil anything. It’s an AMAZING job if you ask me. Boasting access to ALL Elements except Light, and having access to Minus strike and the MIRACLE that is *SURPASSING POWER*, Adam’s personal Asterisk job is AMAZING. What does Surpassing power do?! EVERYTHING! It breaks the damage cap!!! However… HOWEVER… This comes at a grave cost. It’s passive is also it’s greatest weakness, for if your Hellblade ever falls in battle, they will be rocketed STRAIGHT to the bottom of the BP barrel, Dropping to EXACTLY -3BP. It’s Special attack, Ruinga Sword isn’t really much to write home about… but god do I LOVE the vibe it gives with its armor. And obviously it LOVES swords… S rank. But interestingly enough it also likes STAVES… why? It benefits from Magic stat increases… yes, that’s right… it’s your spell blade.

I gotta give it to our accent-heavy foe… guy has fucking amazing taste in music. The Flying Fortress’ theme is INSANE. I love it.

I love this airship, not only is it one of my fav dungeons with one of my fav dungeon themes but I love just how its different from like every other final fantasy airship, in this case it’s a airship that’s detrimental and not the ultimate vehicle to do stuff with, your actually against it instead of using it

BASTION. Absolute Defense as Offense. Defaulting gives you even higher damage reduction and a BP boost on damage as long as you have 30 MP (15 mp for the defense boost, 15 for the BP.) as long as you’re Job Level 12 with them. The Bastion’s skills are all about raising your defenses before using them like a bludgeon on your foes. Kinda like Shieldmaster. They have access to light of justice which is a physical Light element attack… which is nice. Setting up rampart and Vallation gives you an anti-physical or anti-Magical barrier respectively. Very good as a Sub Job. Not really as a main job. But it’s very, very notable for giving shield lore as an equippable skill, letting you put your shield affinity to S. … what… you expect me to give a hint as to what job is next in my final statement?… hahahah… not this time… no… not this time.

Lonsdale is such a breath of fresh air… He’s not mindlessly evil… he’s a soldier. He’s been given orders… but he also isn’t going to ruin the sanctity of a tavern’s vibes. Hahaha.

Dear gods... So, I've been playing a bit of Bravely Default 1 on the side whilst watching these, and lemme just say... Miasma Woods can suck it. The scorpions are fine enough, but the mushrooms... The god-damned Mushrooms... I once had a fight where there was two, and they just KEPT USING SPORE TO MAKE MORE OF THEM. I ended up with 60+ JP, sure, but I friggin' HATE those mushroom bastards.

Also known as the job you forced them to wear in a DESERT.
