For a better understanding, I recommend checking out my best level 1 all boxes standard run. It's important to understand that not all statements in this game are created equal. There are statements that are always true: A box in the top row that says "There is a mimic in the top row" must be true. A red box that says "There is a mimic among the red boxes" must be true. Identify these statements immediately when you see them. There are statements that are contextually true depending on the situation: In a 1-mimic puzzle, a box stating that the adjacent box is not a mimic must be true. In a 2-mimic puzzle, a sequence of three boxes mutually confirming each other must be true. A bit more advanced are helpful statements that provide partial information: In a 1-mimic puzzle, a red chest stating "There is no mimic among the red boxes" may not always be true, but it confirms the truth of any other red chests in the puzzle. A chest in the top row stating "There are no mimics in the top row" may not always be true, but it confirms the truth of any other chests in the top row. There are adjacent accusation statements: When a chest accuses its neighbor of being a mimic, figuring out the implications can be complex; I'll leave this part for you to discover. Lastly, there are less helpful statements: A non-red chest claiming "There is a mimic among the blue chests" is usually not very helpful or conclusive on its own. These are the types of statements you'll encounter in the standard game. My strategy involves examining the rightmost top chest and identifying its statement type. Usually, I gather enough information to proceed, unless I encounter "half information" statements, which aren't always conclusive, or "less helpful" statements, which I often disregard in favor of more reliable clues. After solving the puzzle, I double-check everything aligns before opening chests. There's a lot more detail I could share, but it would make this post twice as long. It's beneficial to figure out some aspects on your own. Good luck! are you talking about the Chikichi + Skullmist Tea combo? I do think that the combo is very strong, especially when you get multiple Skullmist Teas, but to get that and get a frenzy companion, like Groff or Egg is not as common as getting the frenzy companion + Proto Stomper/Pombomb + Forging Stove, so I don't think its bad as the Clunckmasters problem, unless you get it many times in a row

what Mousewood does (the item I get after defeating the first boss) is increase your arrow dmg by 200%, but if an arrow is adjacent to any other item, the arrow is disabled, this configuration of arrows does the most dmg

arrows get the damage buff per empty space in the direction it's pointing, it's not necessary to have them pointing from the bow

Oh and with regards to your comment yesterday: Cursed blade *could* work but I'm not sure it's possible to get enough curses without dying now that honey causes slow!

Idk, I feel like I have more chance to get a good item from the card minigame than the shop, I was actually thinking to skip every shop from now on since I almost never get bow/arrow, I also got early cursed blade but it takes so much time to set up and isnt even better than bow and arrow

btw has there been new updates since the kickstarter ended? I dont have a digital copy of the game
