A sapphire is most welcomed but in this range of prices coming from Switzerland "don't dream" it's not possible and I'm sure you know that already. The water resistance is only splash proof but would you swim even with a real datejust ? You have other watches for that I'm sure ! And for the Matey Tissot I know them, but honestly (hope you won't take it the wrong way) they are to big and not really elegant compared to this one. I don't know the dugena I will have a look and dugena is a nice brand that deserve more credit, they do a nice cartier tank alternative. But in more than three years, with an intensive use I never, I repeat never, had an issue with my JDM ! Honest truth ! Have you seen it, it's in perfect condition ! So no worries for the mineral crystal and the overall proposition at an incredible price for me. But of course I thought of every point you mentioned, but did not talk about any of them since they don't "really" exist for me after my long experience with the watch ! answome comment you did ! PS : just saw the dugena vento, men come on, it's no match in terms of beauty to the JDM. It looks like an enhanced version of a Casio datejust. Sorry I'm not a fan of it dear.

And it is a fact that it does 80 hours so I hope you don't bought a fake (open it to have a look at the movement to see if you don't have a franken watch !). Low chances for a fake because I never heard abt fake Certina but you never know. Where did you bought it ? To someone or an AD. Because second hand watches are not serviced sometimes so.... At it's max 80 hours, that's the magic of the "slowed down ETA movement". And very precise as well !

Hello, yes this is for men, and a watch that looks a little smaller is more refine so you can get used to it, or send it back. I personnaly like the smaller tank, look at mohammed ali Cartier tank on Google, it looks nice on him.

I get what you mean, in casio general lineup; LTP is Ladies, MTP is Men, this is because they are coupled. Means MTP-x1234 will have the smaller version LTP-x1234.. But in this particular model there are no MTP version, it's unisex I think out of all of their square watches, this one is perfectly sized. Their previous square has always been too small, too large, or too thick. And then MTP-M105L came out with great proportion until I got it in hand and it was GIGANTIC, 24mm lug width, maybe you'll like it

The quality is amazing ! I replaced de battery only once, the ronda quartz is crazy good. It's from Switzerland so no surprises with the quality. If you want accuracy take a bulova quartz precision movement. But here you have an excellent movement, very accurate that you will have to reajust from time to time like any other mechanical or automatic watch. That's part of the charm I think...
