@@GrimSoulBanisher Tip for you: Don't look and focus on that kanji sign...just focus on attack carefully..Its easy to identify

@@norath6970 I have friends that are far better than I am. I just choose to practice. Usually, I don't show all the failed attempts, but my Lies of P game play was almost completely intact. That's a masterpiece if you haven't played it yet.

@@GrimSoulBanisherwell i cant relate since i use katanas but ye its a pain in the ass for slower weapon users, katanas can cancel it but slower weapons just make u take the oneshot

He can go on forever but Dark Souls-style dodging and strafing work well against him.

Mostly, it's just ramped up damage numbers. Your skill keeps the balance in check. However, there are some bosses that have the capability to almost one shot you of you make a mistake.

That they do. The Door Guardian is much harder on NG+ simply because he has so much damage that a single mistake could potentially one hit kill you. But mostly, your skills from playthrough one should see you through ng+ just fine.

Getting better. Using nail art phase one and trying to dodge until he gets in a good spot to shriek phase two.

@@GrimSoulBanisher In my case I was just pogoing him in the first phase when I had opportunities, and shrieking or spamming shade soul in the second phase, but I think it's an even better strategy to use nail art against him, just that I'm bad at moving while charging my nail art.

Thanks. I jump back and forth between games, but am avoiding other Metroidvanias until I finish HK. Just been having trouble practicing Markoth and Zote. Those two are just a pain.

@@GrimSoulBanisher yea they are hard for hallownest, i usually use quickslash, sharp dash, unbreakble strenght, unbreakble hearts and run master, i think its a gpod build, for markoth u can use nail arts in the first phase and spells in the second, for zote i use the sharp dash throught him and spam with quickslash, then healing when he goes on the ground or when he is in the air, risky focus but sometime works

Hopefully I can get it soon. My trouble spot is that Markoth/Zote back to back.

I don't currently have a setup to make videos like that. I have just been uploading my fights directly from my PS5 using its limited edit tools. Gets the job done. I'll look into doing it though. I also second Hammer and also use Hunting Horn with friends.
