Hard to understand that he started out as a trumpet player. Didn't he sing in the bathtub 🛁 or in the car 🚗?
I wasn't even born when this was on.
!!!!!que programado,!que barítono más anfitron!!!
Discovered Vaughn way baxk in the fifties when I was a young buck. Now, aged 87, I am still a keen admirer and enjoy his material as much as ever. Hope more fans discover this video. Regards from England, February, 2024.
Beautiful voice but one semester of voice training and would have benefited with more....and no one complains ...highly trained singers will know the difference...such as not pushing the volume when moving to a higher note in the song.
My lifelong musical hero going back to the 1950s. Sadly, not remembered by many music lovers any more, but will share my life as long as I live. As I am now pushing 88, it won't be for much longer. Regards to any of his renaining fans. England, February, 2024.
Mr.Monroe had a pleasant voice...lovely to the ears!! Pure class & appears 🎉effortless. Saw him in a couple movies too.
The most masculine voice in popular music, then and now!! One of my alltime favorites and sang some of the best songs of the day in the best way. Thank you to his family for sharing this clip and for those responsible for putting it on youtube.
brilliant!
Ele não entrou no clima da música (B the B) expressão triste, olhar de preocupação.
Fun to hear this number "live." A lot more energy and panache than the RCA record version. Love V.M. I have a lot of his records on 78 rpm. Definitely one of the best of big bands!
He is so cool! And he is my 3rd cousin!
I wish the rest of his shows were available to watch. He was a tremendous talent. I saw his two movies and have quite a bit of his recordings. R.I.P. Mr Monroe.
Us too! Though, we do have three complete episodes here in the archives, and will work on making more clips available. He sure was a tremendous talent! We hope you can come and see our new show sometime!
Barítono dark
Linda época yo no había nacido pero me encanta❤️
Vaughn played many of the U.S. military bases in Europe, 50's-60's. Always a great performance.
He did indeed! "The Voice That Won The War" as they called him.
It was smoking that killed Vaughn. So tragic. And only 62. Regards to all his fans from England. September 2022.
Thank you! Hopefully we can bring the show over to England someday soon. Keep in touch!

Vaughn does his usual great job singing.
Looks like they went to a great effort for authenticity!
Thank you so much! We sure did, even recreating the original band fronts. Hope to see you at a show someday!
Thank you so much for posting this... I love Vaughn Monroe.... such a treat! My first V.M. records were "Rum and Coca-Cola" and "There! I've Said it Again" in a box of old records with a phonograph for my 12th birthday in 1962....
Thank you for the kind words! So glad you enjoyed. More to come, so stay tuned. Hope you can come see a live show sometime! We'll be back touring in 2022!
Keeping the Big Bands alive!
