HOW I APPLIED AQUAPEL
Short video on how I applied or install water repellent AQUAPEL by PPG industries. I found this product off of Reddit when I was searching for the best way to apply rain X, apparently this product is noted to be far superior on many threads.
I purchased mine on Amazon- Aquapel Glass Treatment by PGW 6 Single Use Applicators PPG

Next time raise the wipers clean and treat the entire windshield.
Better to " deep clean " your windshield first .
Totally the wrong way, never in the sun or vertically AND horizontally
Very nice, but you "skipped" certain stages in the process and the conditions are inappropriate. That is, you did something contrary to the recommendations of the manufacturer and some professionals in the field. From the beginning it's wrong - do not apply Aquapel under the sun's rays ... and there are more.
so one website instructions say to not let it dry, to buff it off.
how come 1 set cost 20$. but you bought 6 for a little more than 20$ and the reviews said those 6 are not real aquappel
Thanks, I was looking for a video on how to use the stuff, since my MOPAR salesman didn't verbally give me the full instructions & there was no written instructions with it. I found out I got overcharged, I paid US$15 for one from my MOPAR dealer, the only difference is: it's stick on label reads MOPAR. Oh well, I only needed 1 for my new Jeep Wrangler.
I can buy them cheaper online but cannot tell the real deal from the Chinesium counterparts. At least you know you're getting the real deal.
Can aquapel be used on the back glass of a car or side windows please reply thanks from Montreal and how long does it last for and also I hear that itekt is the new product now on the market and it last for one year .
You can find Aquapel for 6$ each at Canac stores. Probably the cheapest place to buy it, over here.
and yes, it can be used on side and back windows
@@cybervanlife do you buff it off right away or you wait to dry? please and thank you
@@MarwanA79 once there's no more aquapel left in the plastic container, I start buffing. It says on the package that you shouldn't leave it to dry if I remember correctly.
