What was that thing you were putting on some of the pages?

Something I like to do when I'm taking book pictures is to take pictures of each corner and the spine. I feel like it gives a good idea of the overall book wear.

If you have periods where you're just sitting in your car, parked and waiting, you can store a bunch of pictures and draft/list while you're waiting. I try to do this while waiting at estate sales.

I do really well on old cookbooks … good luck🎉

16 tubs for $80 = $5 per tub -OR- 4 boxes are 272 books = 68 books per box 16 tubs/boxes x 68 = 1,088 books estimate if all boxes are equal-ish $80 investment / 1,088 books = 7-8 cents a book As long as you can sell 8 cookbooks at $10 each you have won big time. You can pretty much guarantee you'll find some $20-30 books that make this a no brainer. It's just a lot of processing. *Watch some Back From Burnout for processing motivation. :D

A good way to get a new bed, and yes I understand sleeping in someone else's bed can bed odd, but we stay at motels, friends, etc...... anyway, we will go to an estate auction in an area of vacation homes, homes on the lake, ski area, where they have guest rooms that might see some use, some no use at all. We scored 2 new adjustable beds, wifi, with all kinds of functions, they retailed $6000 each picked up for $50. And sometimes that is a good hiding spot of valuables ✌🏻💚🙏🏻

I just came across your video. I sell clothing on eBay & am going to start mixing in books & hard goods. What is the red weight for? I imagine to hold down the page, but it’s covering the words. I’ve tried using small rocks to hold a page down. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for the “haul” tip! I’ve subscribed & will check out your other videos.

Some companies protect their new product because it comes with perks if it's first sale. A company won't honor warranties/guarantees if you're selling something, even if you're selling it as "new with tags". Others like Chanel consider a new product as a branded user experience and have found resellers with "new" product can't include this experience. Anyway, right or wrong, that's why some brands go after you with VERO. (And if you got something with tags at the bins, it's really not new anymore, even if it hasn't been used.)

Just found your channel. You've been doing this for three years without a lot of viewer feedback. If nobody else says it, I'm proud of you random stranger. That's a lot of dedication. Keep posting and I'll keep watching.

I also have a reseller channel. I visited a Goodwill Bins for the first time this summer on a trip to Indianapolis. I hope I am able to go back to one soon. I enjoyed this video. Subscribing.

What are you exactly doing when you place that (measuring cup?) thing on the book? It doesn’t look like to assist in keeping it open as that first book laid flat. Just curious.

I have been cut mutiple times at the Dallas bins. I now wear gloves consistently. Also, my bins don't allow children under 16. I think that's great because there are so many ways to get hurt. Our bins have no a/c and I had to stop going for the summer. Friends have told me that people were passing out from the heat. That said, there is nowhere else you can get more bang for your buck.

Great informative video. Just wondering in the video are you photographing ALL the slides or just the ones you may list in the eBay listing to grab attention? Like taking pics of one or two cars and selling those to with 20 that you didn’t photograph. Sounds fun.

I like you interface showing the listing being created 👍 Be careful using the AI description. It added to your Oster listing that components were included (since it thought you were selling blender). Someone could claim Item Not as Described if you include something AI wrote that is not part of the item for sale.

Its good to have a title system like Brand>Type of item (Shirt, pants, sweater) > Gender > Size > Color > then good keywords. Also can make a custom description template so you dont have to type that out every time. The button right above the description box

If you have some books that don’t sell for much if they don’t sell in a yard sale you can save them for Halloween and hand them out 😊💐

Going to the St Louis bins in June and wondered if the Bridgeton one is better for hard goods than the downtown location?

The Bridgeton location used to have a huge book section. The last time I was there I was so sad that there were only about 2 bins of books. Is that how it is most days now?

I go to Goodwill outlet in Bridgeton, MO also. I like there because of a lot of parking spaces and staff are very nice there. So secluded area and peaceful too. I always have a fun there.!

You could have taken the markers out of the box that’s what I do.

Most GW outlets sell larger items for a flat fee. Ours sells large items for $5.00. You can get matching dining chairs for $5 a set.

Some resellers throw things in their carts and sort them out before checkout. They want to make sure they get the good stuff before anyone else.
