oh it's terafirmacraft rather, a better comparison would be made to terrafirmacraft as in the mod. minecraft itself is wildy different, but encourages mods. terrafirmacraft as a mod is much similar to the game you show here, in ways that minecraft does not attempt to. the target market is different, but i still think showcasing these differences is important

I had to lure a ram and ewe seperately, the ewe rocked my shit eight times, the ram didn't get me once. (until I walked by the cage and caught a stray but I digress) the ewes are for some reason stupid fast.

I don't really like Vintage Story vs Minecraft comparisons because they are very different games. Minecraft is an open sandbox with a focus on building and creativity. While VS is a hardcore survival with a focus on realism. They're both great games, but they are trying to do different things. It's like comparing Dwarf Fortress to Rimworld. They may look similar, and may have started from a similar place, but the gameplay experiences are very different

Vintage Story has ruined Minecraft for me and has proven that a realistic approach to game design absolutely works, as long as it simulates a hands on experience.

this game is like minecraft modded terrafirmacraft but more realistic remember that things that can be done like this are inspired by modded games for example this game can always be better remember that these mechanics first came 12 years ago with terrafirmacraft

Not to badmouth the game or anything but I prefer to have a quick bit of fun with my games, I'm very busy, I enjoy pause buttons, I like quick play in competitive games, I want to feel like I actually accomplished something with the little amount of time I get to play games, I don't want to grind like another job on top of everything else I do for days, again, there's nothing wrong with the complexity, some people definitely enjoy that style but it's just not something I can feasibly do or enjoy
