You can tell the NBC game callers would have been a lot happier if Miami had been blowing out Green Bay. They respected the Dolphins as a NFL marquee team much more than Green Bay. If GB can’t afford to build an enclosed stadium, they should be forced to sell the franchise to an owner who will move them to a real city.

12 rushing attempts the whole game. I knew the run game was a major problem. They couldn't put away the Raiders or Patriots away the last 2 weeks by running the ball. You have no chance of winning on the road late in the year in the NFL against any respectable team if you aren't balanced, if you can't run the ball and shorten the game, or if you don't have an absolute stud at qb who can carry your team. I was going to mention the last drive of the game. I'm glad you brought it up. After all of the injuries we've dealt with the last year, and after losing some of our most valuable players, he calls a timeout with 31 seconds left to run 2 meaningless plays. 2 gets Tua sacked, and 1 was a 10 yard pass to Durham Smythe! We weren't even trying to score on the last drive with the dink and dunk throws. I'm happy cause I have Jonnu on my fantasy team, but that just proves how stubbornly incompetent this head coach is.

Couple notes on this cold weather narrative - 1) These are the ~miami dolphins. Every single one of these games is an ~away game. 2) Most cold weather stadiums are in the afc, and the fins are the only team where all 3 other stadiums are outdoor and cold in winter. 3) 4 of these are as follows, again away games - bills in 2021, bills/titans in 2022, chiefs last year. All of those games the fins would have been 4 pt underdogs on a neutral field in a dome. The long and short of it is, we have and will always have the highest percentage of away cold weather games, and as long as there are other good teams in the afc - its gonna be hard to build up a winning record in “cold weather games”

This Packers game is gone tell if the defense is soft cause when it’s cold you don’t want to tackle or hit especially. Thanksgiving will tell if they soft or not.

Niners haven't looked great, but we don't play them for another month. I think everyone is counting the Niners out a little too soon. They do have a brutal schedule, so I'm not sure they're gonna make the playoffs, but I'll bet that game is gonna be a tough one to win. If there's a remaining game or 2 that we can probably afford to lose, it's the Packers and/or the Niners. I'm not as confident about this game, but I love the energy, and I think these guys have the right mentality to go get a win. I just hope the players understand that even with a loss, they can still make a run. In the post game locker room speech, it sounded like the players believe that this game is make or break. As long as they don't get embarrassed, they shouldn't lose hope.

Actually, the packer secondary is not very good right now, so that's a misconception. Even a packer beat writer talked about it

There's alot of different scenarios that can play out if multiple teams finish with the same record. If multiple teams finished with the same record, it would come down to conference record instead of a head to head tiebreaker. I think we can afford 1 more loss, preferably to an NFC opponent

Doug wants Grier fired, who drafted his precious Tua, when Grier should be fired for not drafting Justin Herbert. I saw first hand what a difference a player HC made in the ability to build a coaching staff , recruit players and have performance accountability. My belief is McDaniel is over his head spending to much time dodging questions or just double talk and Grier who just can't get the job done. I do believe they a developed a team who are soft and undisciplined. What says you?

Mike been a Dolphin fan after attending their first game in the Orange Bowl 1966 I knew when we got Shula he was the one who would take us to the Superbowl and he did.
