For my third and final video for Dr. Callaway's ADSC 6350 Grazing Animal Production and Management I am discussing the impacts of the Great Depression on grazing management. The federal aid programs and regional agricultural differences allowed for larger farm sizes in the west which changed grazing practices. Additionally, the Great Depression was the start of programs such as the NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) previously known as SCS (Soil Conservation Service) which recommended certain plants to recover disturbed areas.
