Try doing them without touching the ground....
Legend
The lack of response from the competitors towards Karsten was eye catching. Is it bad blood? Suspicion of doping? Racism?
I hope you're still doing TGUs ... best medicine (exercise) for the body as we age. Started at 50 almost 60 now

Love that he immediately praised Rai, awesome sportsmanship. Made a fan of me.
My goodness it can never happen I would have loved to see him v Moses in his prime. Brilliant Brilliant Champion.
Nice haircut after running an incredible world record.
Imagine being .50 second under world record and only winning a silver. Holy fk that is an insane race.
Karsten ran 300 m hurdles at Bislett Stadium, Oslo. June 2021, setting a world record of 33.26. Had he run the last 100 meters and used 12 sec, the world record of 400 m would have been 45.26 ... the track surface at Bislett Stadium is not considered to be among the fastest in the world! Let this sink in!
So much athletic ability and so much class as a person. i cannot think of a better role model in the sport and I do not base that on this performance or this interview alone.
Generous comment about Benjamin also deserving a gold medal...
Probably the greatest performance in the history of sport. For 29 years the mark of 46.78 by Kevin Young could not be beaten. All three medallists in this race ran faster. With the bronze medal being won in 46.72, which was more than three quarters of a second behind the winning time. If someone had told Benjamin he'd run 46.17 in Tokyo, he would have been elated, but to run that astonishing time, only to come 2nd is unfathomable. The winning time of 45.94 is faster than many athletes ran to win their national championships in the FLAT 400! I am not surprised Karsten tore apart his shirt. The adrenaline must have been flowing, out shining the inevitable lactic in his legs, especially coming down the home straight. Breathtaking race. I've been an avid fan of Athletics for over 40 years and this race is easily the best I've ever seen. Simply incredible.
Yea people don’t really know what this means and I don’t blame them. I can appreciate this more than the average person because I run the 400 hurdles. It takes a lot of practice to get on his level as well as strength with his 14 steps.
Mr. Bob Beamon just entered the discussion...
Oh he’s so respectful and collegial I love him even more now
1:40 "..but i was ready; ..i did it!"
He was very humble. He spoke very well about Benjamin
Good role model
White boy man! Holy. Crap
It's just incredible that all top 3 finishers (Warholm, Benjamin, dos Santos) broke the former WR by Kevin Young. That is such a rare feat in track & field and I'm glad I was able to see it live
LUCKY you ;)
🍆
Coolest hair on the planet!
It’s crazy how some of the the people who didn’t make it out of the semi-final would have medals in previous Olympics and world championships
Analyzing a high percentage of the races and comparing known PBs and rounds of running factors, a basic review shows the track providing between .1 and 1.1% of improvement. That is, on lesser tracks, KW runs 46.45 (worst case) and RB runs a 46.68 (worst case). 0.85% improvement is the mode, so, a 46.34 and 46.57 would be expected.
What does it mean when a Norwegian says he has been "working hard" I hate/love our neighbouring country with all their amazing athlets
You are hockey gods, we're not ;)
They should make him the King of Norway!
He sure is handsome!
Rai should have taken one less step between the last two hurdles like Karsten did. Would have been closer.
All they gave us is a future decade of track and field fun to look forward to.....

Great job bro
Damm boi, you did it.
And glad he acknowledged rai Benjamin too .and fact he did not accused him just his shoes not him guys chill out
The GOAT of the 400hurdles is the Norwegian king .
the guy that got 2nd also deservese a gold medal? obviously not since 2nd gets silver.
I never knew Conan O'Brien ran the 400m hurdles.
Please. Don't disrespect Warholm like that.
He kinda reminds me of Vanilla Ice that guy. What an athlete!!
he looks like he is doping
Why? Whats wrong?

At the end of the day, technology advances. Spikes and tracks get better. It must be accepted at some point
2021 and we still have to talk about race smh let's get over it! We're all one species, one people, all human beings. P.S: I didn't have time to watch the interview only read the title of the video.
It’s only 1:44. Suck it up. 😁
@@baccaratfitness2360 Agreed!!!!!!!!!!!
what an absolute bro
He is such a friendly and respectable guy.
Wow! I was never a big fan, but the acknowledgment of Rai is just amazing sportsmanship!
I don't get why he accused Rai of basically cheating. He's wearing Carbon fiber spikes that are custom made for him too.
When did he accuse Benjamin of cheating?
He did not accuse him of cheating, but Warholm is clearly not a fan of the springy foam technology in the Nike shoes (which is something exclusive for Nike, by the way).
@@eivindtolas8552 he’s wearing carbon fiber spikes, which foam. Something only Puma offers. That doesn’t mean what he’s wearing is not fair. It just means they are both wearing their company’s latest innovation.
@@eivindtolas8552 so basically you just argued with me but you don’t even have your facts straight. The Pumas Warholm wears are carbon fiber spikes with foam soles. The Nikes Rai wears are carbon fiber spikes with foam soles, and the Nike air bubble. The air bubble is what Warholm was complaining about. So you don’t even know what he’s talking about, yet you’re correcting me.
Well, for the Puma’s he’s only mentioning a carbon plate, from what I can gather, that they’ve «tried to make as thin as possible». The Pebax foam is not in his shoes - only in the Nike’s. He than also says that if you want cushioning under the shoes, you can put a «mattress» there instead of a «trampoline».
for en enestående mester! Norge burde være stolt av ham!
My jaw hit the floor with this race, and especially the time. The last time that happened was the 800 men's final in London 2012, and before that. Bolt's 9.69 in Beijing. These 'off the chart' performances are rare.
Anthony Evans Go for it if you want to man
@Anthony Evans U an addict? Do you need help?
He is very handsome and nice
Those shoes are some serious high tech.Might be the difference????
Technically perfect ... speaker of English. A career in ESOL teaching awaits once he hangs up his trainers for good.
Most norwegians speak fluent english though. it is basically our second language. so he wouldnt be teaching norwegians atleast
He's a gentleman and a great athlete. This was one of my favorite Olympic track events. He and Benjamin pushed each other and it worked well for both of them. Accolades to them and the Brazilian who took bronze.
Never knew Conan O'Brien was also a world-class athlete.
lol
