Welcome back, great reaction. You will find that BABYMETAL really proved to the world that you can dance to metal ... or that they can, it seems not everybody else can after all. They have bespoke choreo for every song, but not dance as you may know it from pop acts etc where it is generally used to fill the stage or to give you half dressed girls and/or boys to watch so you don't notice the music isn't all that. BABYMETAL's choreo serves at least two real purposes: - It is very often interpretive and relates to the meaning of the song or a lyric - very useful for those of us who speak no Japanese; - It is designed to include and involve the crowd. They use it to bridge the gap, to join the crowd with the band. When the girls jump, pump their fist, shout, chant or make a particular move the crowd follows their lead. The whole crowd becomes part of the performance. You have seen BABYMETAL collaborate with Electric Callboy, now you have seen them as a featured guest on Bring Me The Horizon's song and you were thinking to watch one of their own songs. Nice reaction! You haven´t seen anything of their choreography yet, because the annoying 2-sec-editing-and-totally-spoiled-with-effects didn´t focus on them at all. Their choreography to this is real BADASS! omajination (channel) has some fancam edits focusing on their choreography. There´s even one focusing on Momometal dancing and headbanging😉 IMHO one of their best choreos so far. Moametal was on fire in this, the Angel of Love and Queen of Hedoban 😄 It´s amazing how fast she can move The audio was not live, tho, but with the fancam edits you´ll hear that Su-Metal is totally able to do this live. Welcome back, it's been a while, hope to see you around with more BM songs. This was the best 2020 collab between these two great bands and finally we got this collab on the stage together after so much time waiting for it. BMTH performed at Southside Festival in Germany and Hellfest Festival in previous years, there's a nice proshot version but with only BabyMetal backing track vocals, luckily now we got this amazing clip showing them sharing the same stage at Makuhari Messe during a festival called "NEX_FEST" ending October and starting November last year, and they did it not only once but four times in a row, everyone went bonkers with these, you can also find fancams of each night showing some different interactions at the end between Oli and the girls, SuMetal thanked to BMTH in all of them, that's the only thing i can complain about this clip but it's cool anyway. BMTH couldn't have better collab on their latest album Post Human Survival Horror, there are some others really good songs there thou but this one is just on another level. My suggestions are: "Parasite Eve" and "Teardrops", also "Ludens" from Death Stranding OST videogame. This song was produced by Mick Gordon, the same behind videogames like Doom, Wolfenstein and Prey, so you can feel the vibes here. They're friends since 2015 when met each other at Kerrang Awards so the collab was almost naturally unavoidable. They even performed as a support band for BabyMetal and Oli praise the Fox God too (atheist, dame, zettai)🦊🤘 The drum&bass instrumental intro on this song is called "Itch For The Cure" which is clearly a tribute to Linkin Park song "Cure For The Itch", but the short animation and dialogue wasn't part of the album track, it's a reference to Metal Gear Solid videogame created by Hideo Kojima, they got another MGS tribute song called "Shadow Moses" and later in 2019 they were part of Death Stranding OST, another Hideo Kojima game. Also you can find a short documentary about the making of this song where Oli said interesting things about the method they worked with the BM team and giving multiple choice of doing this. Next suggestion: - Road Of Resistance live in Japan official MV (2015). RATATATA is a 50/50 collab song unlike this one BM is the special guests featuring. BM will be at Knotfest Brazil, Argentina and Chile for the first time in South America as well in Peru with a headlining show and after that they will going back to Mexico but this time as special guests for Slipknot, i can't wait to see them live.🙌❤ Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🤘🔥

Electric Callboy basically created what is being called partycore (old-school dance/electro mixed with metal) while Babymetal is kawaii metal, although they don't lean into the cute aspect as much anymore (being in their mid 20s rather than preteens). Both bands are a good listen.

Fun to see you encounter these two for the first time! EC‘s catalogue from the last few years is fantastic and definitely worth a look for more fun, both from a musical and video standpoint. Welcome to the Foxhole 🦊🤘🔥 It's always nice to see more reactors getting into this amazing group, they're a global phenomenon from Japan and trust me you have seen nothing yet. Here's a brief info about this amazing group: BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old when started this and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute) mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms. Their name is a reference to a new genre and not related to their ages or "baby" faces, is a pun intended play words with "heavy-metal" which sounds similar to "baby-metal". They are: *SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26. *MoaMetal* scream and dance, now 24. *MomoMetal* scream and dance, she's 21 and is the new official member since April 1st last year. -YuiMetal- scream and dance, former member since 2018. None of them are related. After 2018 you'll see backup dancers performing along with them but none of them are official members, they don't sing, only dance, but that status change recently like i said. There's no other group like them around and teaming up with this group from Germany just elevated them even higher. If you like Jpop and edm elements then you gonna find a lot of cool songs blended with heavy metal in their latest album "The Other One" released last year. Songs like Divine Attack - Shingeki, METALIZM, Time Wave and Light and Darkness among other great songs as well tracks and live performance from early era will make you bounce and rock with this insane group. Last weekend they did the live premiere of this song in Japan at FOX_FEST (a festival held by BM) and everyone went wild with this collab. The girl in the middle is the lead singer SuMetal and she actually dance less than the other girls (MoaMetal and MomoMetal) because she sings most of the time but regardless she can dance and sing and you won't even notice she's out of breath. About this song: This was filmed in Germany and the concept of the MV is they're breaking boundaries with the genres and they don't care about corporation decisions, the office with the suits workers and the Japanese boss kinda represent that. The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus but it's probably used way back before in more songs. The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with some guitar elements. The moment when they're breaking the wall is another homage to Aerosmith x Run DMC - Walk This Way MV, symbolism of breaking the boundaries with the music genres like I already said. Also one of the singers is holding up the cable with electricity during the breakdown is a reference to "The Cable Guy" movie. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that in the MV, although fans spotted in the live version, so it was her after all. Love the euro dance and trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture that i probably missing a lot more. Fun fact: EC said in a reactor comment they did the breaking the walls scene in one shot, there will be a bts so we're waiting for more. This was filmed in Germany and the crew had to put all those disco ball on the celling manually just for this song. Welcome and Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍 Is it just a coincidence that the two bands are to perform on the same days in the same places in several European festivals in June ?

Love Electric Callboy. Good first reaction. This is a straight 50/50 collaboration by two great bands, but the song is more Electric Callboy's style ... and it is great fun start to finish.😂 They already played it live together twice last weekend at the FOX_FEST events in Tokyo arranged and hosted by BABYMETAL. Of course Electric Callboy was one of the bands they invited to perform. You won't have seen or heard anything quite like BABYMETAL. They are both original and unique. They pioneered their own new sub-genre of metal in 2010 and their own style, doing things their own way ... and some people have had trouble understanding not all bands have to be the same. They have about 70 songs now, each one different to the last. They have songs in virtually every metal genre but they will mix and blend so many other musical styles and genres with the metal ... just expect the unexpected.
