We will be back! 🤗 a short snippet of #hallelujah from the kitchen #morningvo...

Thank you for the festive start of this lazy first Sunday of Advent. The biggest decision of the day is to ponder that there are only 3 hours left if a walk before darkness is to be enjoyed. But first - more coffee.
If lilting is artwork, you are a grand painter. Well done.
@@brucesteele3052 lol thanks Bruce 😂🥰🥰
I have no idea why but it lifts my spirit every morning!! Thank you :)

Easy question, dear Morning Sun. Tuesdays are typical song mornings, I would argue. Monday mornings are a bit much for a song as one breaks oneself into working shape again (well, most of us do, I suppose). I do not have Siri, and I don't trust the internet as a great source of jokes. I do however have quite some belief in you telling a funny anecdote from your touring life with a tiny core of truth being filled in and expanded on by all the vivid colours of the rainbow (as one does when meeting up with some colleagues for lunch after the weekend or friends on a Tuesday evening for a snack before going to the cinema (etc.). They usually start with: "Oh, did I tell you what happened to me the other day? No? .... (I do not have any recent and fun anecdotes to share with you all, but here is a fun and interesting fact from the news: A stray kitten has been adopted by a Capybara Herd in a Zoo in Malaysia. The kitten has now grown up, still loving his adoptive gang and become kind of a star, thus the Zoo decided to change the sign of their enclosure to "Capybaras and Oyen" (the name given to the kitten "breaking into" the enclosure of his chosen family). 😁
lol so a song or a funny story ☝️🥰 a great story about the kitten 😂

Love this! I didn't catch the name ... My (fiddling) boys want to learn this but they need the name of the song and name of the composer in order to do it for their teacher ... Is that something you can share?
It’s one of my own and it’s called Dualta’s Polka 🥰 I’m not sure I have ever written it out in notes..but they are welcome to play it 🤗

Thank you so much for the World Premier! It and the lyrics made me boop. Also, please take care of your fingers - AND take care of the Earth. Do not trust a certain billionaire. Yes, one can survive on Mars for a little while, the same way that one can survive being in a nuclear reactor for a while as long as one wears protective suits, breathing apparatus and all that jazz. I am lucky enough to have grown up in Norway. Sure we need some protective gear too (during winter) making kids look like tiny astronauts, thus we get the whole spacesuit experience annually. Even better, during summer one can jump out of bed and run straight into the garden. That may be covered with grass, feeling perfect under small or big feet without any protective gear. Our planet's magnetic field takes care of the cosmic rays so a tiny bit of sunscreen is the only protective gear we need for longer exposure. The air is so perfect that we need no breathing apparatus (unless we live in unfortunate areas where profit margins went bonkers together with pollution). We can in fact get out of bed without any protective gear (other than for "modesty", perhaps) and speed straight into a lake or stream of a chemical component named "dihydrogen monoxide" for fun. We casually call it water. No protection is needed (except perhaps for a floating device for those struggling with swimming). We can even drink the thing - to the point that we SHOULD drink the thing as general advice (as long as we have not used said lake/river as a free depot for poison as a profit margin-enhancing tool, of course). We live on a planet where it is perfectly safe to get out of bed butt naked, stand in the extreme radiation from our star and lick chemical compounds out of the air itself (also called rain), with a temperature range and climate that allows life (humans included) to pop up everywhere. My point is - sure it sounds fun to grow up on Mars, the same way it sounds fun to grow up inside a factory producing DDT pesticide while wearing cool suits. On Mars, the Universe will try to kill you (unshielded cosmic rays), and the Sun will try to kill you (on Earth a Corona ejection produces beautiful Auroras, on Mars they want to kill you if not shielded). The lack of water will try to kill you, the lack of food supplies will try to kill you (try making a happy chicken live her best life in a space suit to provide eggs - and good luck finding something to feed said chicken with without importing grain from the only place in the Universe we know about where grain can be grown (also called Earth). We have ten fingers, and they should be taken care of (especially musicians I would say - careful with cans!). On the other hand - we each normally have ten of them, thus losing one is not a disaster. Earth, however - that is a thing with a sample size of one. As a geophysicist, I am convinced that there are habitable planets to be discovered even in our own galaxy, but I really would advise anyone to care for our own well-designed spaceship until we A) discover said habitable planet and B) figure out interstellar travel. So far humanity has made this fantastic achievement of the Voyager 1 and 2 missions. These are the only two objects that we have sent into interstellar space (kind of), being the fastest moving objects we ever made and travelling for 45 years. The diameter of our Galaxy is 100,000 lightyears, thus we have plenty of space to look for habitable planets. The downside is that after 45 years of flying around 17 km (10 miles) every single second, Voyager is now just 22 light HOURS away. To actually go somewhere to look for a habitable life-raft for when we "sink" Earth will take a while. For a Voyager to move a single lightyear away from our solar system will take another 17,000 years - and that is just 25% of the distance to our closest star system. Alpha Centauri is unfortunately a Red Dwarf star, thus we likely must travel way further to have a chance of finding anything close to the comfort levels we have here on Earth. We really do not have a great secondary plan, unlike one wants to live with Elon Musk in a desert where one must spend the rest of your life living in a cave deep underground (to shield from radiation), put on a spacesuit just to get a glimpse of the sun, while spending all awake hours producing artificial water, artificial air or working in a factory to produce methane for the rockets just to import the bare essentials from Earth. If the Earth went down, good luck with the "quality of life" on Mars without "import goods". On the upside, we really do not have to default to the Elon Musk dystopia just yet - and there is a win to embrace during this fine day!! It is still free to open a window, to open a door, to step outside and get a lungful of absolutely free atmosphere that our planet is maintaining. Sorry for this long and winding way of suggesting that taking care of "spaceship Earth" should hardly be a controversial idea. Have a lovely morning/day/evening World. Remember to take a good breath of fresh air and recognise how convenient that is without walking around in a spacesuit with a "Portable Life Support System" on our backs. Astronauts (star sailors) are awesome. But so are the "koultouranauts" (culture sailors) roaming around on spaceship Earth.
