IMO. i don't understand why Nintendo/Retro Studio changed the cinematic when you acquire the Phazon Suit since Metroid Trilogy. The logbook says that the Phazon was a radioactive element with a massive heat irradiation, thats why on GC vertion, we saw Samus emerge from the Phazon pool dealing dramaticaly with the high temperature caused by the Phazon infuse. Then in trilogy they changed that and it feels like "ok, it was just a mosquito bite".

I just got to this boss and honestly it has really put a damper on the whole experience. It's been an amazing game, but this fight just isn't fun.

The default in-game volume for the Iconic theme needed to be *much* louder imo. Sadly, it just just sounds too washed out and part of the background noise to have that thumping 'Mega' effect. 6:32 Also, I cannot believe how little punishment you take from Ridleys charge attack - this game was _way_ more forgiving than I thought!

The addition of twin stick controls makes this fight a little easier, particularly during the rolling segments where you can still deal damage if your aim is good enough. Either way, they managed to make fighting a pile of rocks actually kinda interesting. You consider the sheer scale of just what Phazon is. A collective of pure Phazon ore is enough to create a conscious monster. Well that's good to know, that the mutating space nuke is sentient.

Easily the most stressful fight in the game. The stakes are so high by the time you get here, if you die you're basically losing 30 minutes of progress

Omg i was so scared, i just got into this part of the game and like, i was afraid there would be a boss here so i went on yt and searched for videos abt the zone i was, and when i discovered i was in the Cloak drone boss fight i was really afraid, and the worst part is that i had almost no energy and the doors were locked, and then i accidentaly shot the door and it repelled my shot and got the drones attention and he flew to the beginning door. I was shocked that it happened so i paused, and i was like: its now or never, i need to defeat this thing from UP HERE... so i unpaused and activated the termal vision as u did in the vision and somehow, i used wave blaster and the thing couldnt even hit me and i killed him? Idk if its patched because it was too hard but i just know i killed him with way less effort than the battle u had with it. Anyways im so glad i didnt have to restart from the beginning of the phazon mines, i almost accepted my fate that i would die after watching u barely getting alive with 2 energy tanks when i had only 1, and u also had more missiles...

Question what does the armor you get from this fight actually do, it says changes colors of the dream but what the hell does that mean exactly?

His weakness is the ice beam once he loses the wings. One charged shot will knock his head back exposing his core.
