Thanks for the question Jeff. Our products have a graphical interface for setting up your I/O, automated tasks, data logging, email alarms, etc. The interface for setting up Modbus TCP/IP communications is very basic. The best way for you to see it is to use our demo of the X-600 (or any of our other devices) by visiting the product page on our website and going to the demo tab: www.controlbyweb.com/x600m/demo.html. Please note that our only Modbus "Master" or Client is our X-404. The X-600 is a "Slave" device or a Server, as are the rest of our devices. So the interface will be limited to enabling Modbus communication, defining the port and Endianness, and assigning your registers. You'll find it by logging into our demo device setup page, clicking on network, then advanced network, and finally Modbus. Hope that helps!

Great question Sourya! Our products include a delay timer that you can set to be longer than your defrost cycle would affect temperature. When you delay the alert like this, then you'll know that if you get an email, then it's worth looking into. Hope that helps.

Sourya, I didn't fully answer your question. Yes it can send email alerts, which can also be converted to text if you set it up right. All of our temperature monitoring solutions have email alarm functionality.

That's a good question. From what we can recall, it seemed like Derrick had two, 12-foot sensors monitoring each cooler. The sensors were positioned about in the middle of each cooler. Hope this helps.

Ray Rafferty Thank you for your input. The stations will start according to the schedule that the user has programmed. If you want to see when the programs will start, you can simply look at the schedule. In other words, if you look at the schedule and it says that the program is scheduled to start at 2:00AM, you can count on it to start at that time ... So you can sleep well! We have tested this unit for a couple of years before releasing it and we have never seen it fail to start when scheduled. There is also a log file that will tell you when each station has run. If there is a case where the unit fails to start when scheduled we will certainly be interested to fix it.
