I have an 05 RMZ/KXF Front end to go on my 04 KDX 220, It didn't really seem like you had too many problems with the swap. Is there anything I should look out for? Awesome Build!!!

Awesome project! I have one in the wait list becouse of a big problem with mine. I bought it with a plastic kit adapted to the frame… and having a deep look some days ago i figure put that the subframe was modified… i need someone to help me figuring out the subframe OEM measures, and maybe i could be able to make a blurpint of it. I need to start this project and i dont know where to find the OEM measures. Thanks🤟🏼

I used to use a smaller back sprocket for in the woods, was more fun an faster on top end

I had a KMX 200 in England it was good but the KDX was a little bit better, but the KDX always had USD forks my KMX had them forks for some reason, I was a KDX or a Yamaha DT125R man I had 5 DT125R a Honda MTX , but the DTRs wore the best with the KDX close

Hi is the front rim the original kdx rim, or is it the kxf rim that was on the kxf forks? If it's the original kdx rim did you have to change anything with the Axel etc?

Where did you find a 70mm pistion? Wiesco only makes up to a 68mm.

No headlight? If you did do a headlight which one is the most straightforward? Polisport Halogen and just choose high or low beam wire ?

Myself id skip the flywheel. To me it just slows it from revving where it makes power. But i havent tried one

Why are th KDX noisy in the engine dept? these are solid motors, but why does it sound like they need rings perhaps. my uncle owns a 1998 I got him. sounds the same a your 2005!

Is the stem from the stock triple clamp a direct fir into the kx250f clamps or is there any milling that needs to be done to press the stock stem in?

Curious how you like the experience with the lectron? Bought my kdx and the previous owner put a replica keihin on it and the bike just isn’t tuned to its ability. On the fence of a stock sudco ($380) or a lectron.
