For pictures, you want a slower shutter speed. You can do the same for video, but it must at least double the frame rate, or you will risk motion blur.

Hi Drew. I have this same issue on my CBR600RR 2008. It won’t prime unless I tugged on the cable. It’s hard to tell from your click but which cable did you pull - from the left handle or from the ignition barrel? Did you have to replace any cables?
Rory Carter it was the tube of cables from the ignition Barrell. Inside there were several cables, in my instance; it was the pink cable that had snapped so I repaired it.
Drew Sutton thank you. Will open up that tube and have a look for the pink one. In terms of cause I can only think it is from general wear and tear as that cable has to move every time I ride. Over time it must fatigue.
Hi Drew Sutton. I have a cbr600rr 2007and i have exactly the same issue with HISS. What did you do to fix it? Did you change the HISS or you replace any wire cable?
Mech Eng fortunately, I found a snapped cable within that tube you can see me pull on. I repaired the cable and it was fine ever since.
Drew Sutton same problem to me green cable was cut. I checked with a polymeter and i repaired it. Thanx man.

I went to rampworld a week ago, out of the 50 or so people that were there, i was among the only 4 people who wasn't riding a damn scooter.
I haven't been in there since the day filmed this video.
There have updated the street course there, but unless you go there on a weekday during school hours its like a epidemic with the amount of scooter kids there. Don't give you enough room to do anything.
