It was a beautiful sunset and sunrise. I don't think that is common there

We got lucky, as you've experienced the tides are pretty strong but the wind was calm all night. Both times the tide switched we dragged anchor for a bit before it caught. What app do you use to alert you if the boat drifts? How much do you trust it?

Getting on that tide makes a huge difference. We have a lot of great adventures in the bay. I used to enjoy visiting that brewery in Vallejo. I'm not sure if it's still there. When was the last time you did the Petaluma trip?

This one was definitely way more of an adventure than we had planned for. We left Alameda thinking it would just be a 5-hour sail to Petaluma. It ended up taking us two days to get there because of all the bridges and shallow areas. How well are the beaches recovering from the hurricane?

Vallejo is a fun marina, is the Mare Island Brewing still over there?

I plan to get a few good seasons out of them first. What don't you like about them?

@@OddSeaAdventures they’re not a core snowboarding brand. They’re a one off brand. They don’t sponsor the real snowboarders. They don’t sponsor real snowboarding events. They sponsor instagram riders. Clew doesn’t do anything to support or move the culture of snowboarding forward. They’re taking market share away from the real snowboard brands. And snowboard companies already don’t make money.

A hot steaming pile of badassery! Ill leave a review at the end of the season and see if I still feel this way.

From doing my research I think these will be a good fit for me. I'm stoked to see a clip in that has a high back and that doesn't require me to buy a binding and Boots. If I am wrong about my choice I will know by the end of the season. I've got about 1500 days under my belt since 93 so we will see if they can do everything I expect from a binding. I'll do a review at the end of the season. So far I am stoked, What don't you like about these bindings?

@OddSeaAdventures just off the top of my head: -Terrible board-feel. The whole thing is a massive deadspot under foot. -No dampening. -Cheap hardware -Walking around with that stirrup under your heel is dumb and dangerous. -Minimal R&D has gone into this. It's like they pushed out the first prototype they made to market. -It's pure, unadulterated kookery If you absolutely NEED step-ons, just get the Supermatics.

Ive Used the flow bindings in the past, how do supermatics differ from that design.

@OddSeaAdventures it looks like the highback lays flat, and it's rear entry.

@@OddSeaAdventuresover by Geyserville was my favorite. There’s a long stretch there with some deeper pools. Lots of pikeminnow and smallmouth!

Float to Jenner and maybe a sk8 at Pats before winter

It was an easy ride, especially to get a one-night stay at the beach and bike back the next day
