I personally would have liked for it to turn out that you were from the same world as your partner. Edit: Or at least an option for the player character to tell their partner "Screw my old life, I'm coming with you." Who knows, maybe we might even get a sequel where they all see each other again.

I mean he did say it was a lot to ask you to follow him to his world which to me meant he wants you with him. And he was going to say ~something~ before he trailed off and just said live your life but I still wanted to hear him say it T-T Eugene is a cutie his romance makes me giggle too. Do you have a favorite line that he said? Thanks for uploading this BTW! I was really torn between Felix and Eugene but after getting Eugene to five stars my fate was sealed that date was too cute. @@GnostalgicMnemonic Good to know, this is my first playthrough however so i might just have to hold the L and "date" someone else, dont want the cheated marker on a save file that I plan to invest the most time into even if the save still counts for achievements. Reason being is I want to try and get a shit ton of bootlegs. I want the fire bootleg of every tape in the game, potentially all types on all of them if im lucky enough

Meredith has one line that gets included/excluded based on the Player Pronoun (during her date scene.) She also gets another pronoun-based line in a camping scene if you were dating her but entered into a romantic relationship with Kayleigh (bolded below): (...) I mean I don’t blame you - I mean, Kayleigh is _Kayleigh ._ She’s effortlessly perfect, and gorgeous too. Don’t tell her I said that. *(God, I’m such a **_mess_** when talking to women...)* so yeah meredith's a sapphic mess lmao

@@GnostalgicMnemonic I think Kayleigh also has a pronoun-based dialogue in a camping scene if you use he/him pronouns and are dating her, when you can decide if starting a relationship with her. She says she had relationships with guys previously but had never felt something for them, before you. (I'm just watching a gameplay from a translated version though so not sure if in the English version this is different) Is this different if you use use another pronoun?

I would definitely like to write reinterpretations of Robin Goodfellow, Babelith, Nowhere King, and Mourningstar - to make all of them reflect more on the themes of the story and also the companions' character arcs. I'd also like to make Robin Goodfellow speak in Iambic Pentameter. Unfortunately they'll require a lot more work, as they don't actually have a lot of existing dialogue / room for additional dialogue - I'll have to add in entirely new scenes to pull that off. I do already have revamped mechanics in mind though at least. I'm happy you liked this!

@@GnostalgicMnemonic Cool, looking forward to them. Babelith being connected to Barkely sounds cool. Also, a few ideas to help your progress; when Aleph reveals the Archangels, the ones with connections to the playable character react to them. Anyways, stay safe and don't forget to pace yourself!

funny you should say that i actually *made* the lamento mori bossfight rework mod i could deffo do a runthrough of it though it's still teeeechnically incomplete (i was planning on giving him a few more moves and tweak the summons a bit) but yeah i personally have it installed i plan on doing minor reworks to Helia (including the option to refight her), Robin Goodfellow, and Babelith too, and eventually maybe Nowhere King and Mourningstar (along with altered dialogue)

I actually have an idea for a Aleph rework fight if you are interested; Every time Aleph goes to 1 HP, he revives under a different type and uses attacks all placed in that type to help uses Deus Ex Calibur faster. Similar to Aleph Null, he cycles through the reworked Archangels attacks + some of his own so you know what Archangel attack he's gonna use. Hope this helps. I really enjoy this game!

Morgante shows up post-game, if you've defeated all the other "standard" (non post-game) archangels. You might be missing one! Perhaps the one at Waterloop Station (Heckahedron) or Mt. Wirral (Babelith)?

Is it even possible to finish the game without beating all the arch angels? Barring helia ofc

@@marcoasturias8520 yup! There are only 8 melody pieces, and 9 "standard" Archangels, so you have the full melody when one's Archangel's still alive. Also, you can actually open Morgante's gate from moment the tutorial's complete, and you can enter it and finish the game at 4 Archangels done.

No idea! :/ And unfortunately, Cassette Beasts's Devs have no idea either; the port is handled entirely by a different party that's not really beholden to their schedule.

@lgicMnemonic They have to use a third party not only due to Nintendo's aggressive licensing rules but also because Godot doesn't officially support consoles and requires a third party to port. That said I heard the Switch version has performance problems.

@@christianrodriguez8577 oh? tbh as i tend to dig around in files to see how things can be modded, I do know what files determine how fusions end up looking and what Fusion Powers they end up having. I'm not completely familiar with the scripting language so I couldn't actually tell you how it works / predict how things would go, but it shouldn't be that hard to derive for someone with more experience.
