I'm sat here right now, in the dark, struggling through a PTSD episode, and it's the mornings, when the sunlight streams through the blinds onto my partner's face I know I can sleep, I know they're safe, and the night is over. So just like... Yeah... This one hits hard.

Tom Hiddleston has a magnificant voice .. so deep, resonant and expressive .. and he reads this poem so beautifully.. Many have read this indomitable poem before him .. not nearly so well in my opinion.. Tom has an ethereal eloquence in his way of speaking .. you can feel the emotion in his voice ..there is a quality in the timbre .. a certain almost magical essence that comes clearly through.,that catches you and carries you to that same crossroad in your mind.. I have felt kin to this poem, since I first read it as a stripling youth. A life path was laid out for me by my parents, but I chose a different path, and lived a happier, more fulfilling life because of that choice. It has not been a path without pitfalls and disappointment, but it allowed me the opportunity to find true, lasting love.
