You HAVE to do THIS to your Hunting Blind- Awesome Upgrades!
In this video, I’m upgrading my elevated hunting blind to make it more comfortable and efficient for long hunts. First, I added a small portable power station by All Powers, which powers a red light wired to a switch. The red light is known for being less detectable by deer during low-light conditions. To stay warm during colder hunts, I installed a portable Buddy heater. I also added a comfortable hunting chair to make those long sits more manageable. Lastly, I brought along a small solar panel to charge the power station when needed.

Переглядів 13114 днів тому
In this video, I tackle the aftermath of Hurricane Helena, which originated in Florida and traveled up through the country. By the time it reached Ohio, we were dealing with remnants that brought 40-50 mph winds, knocking over trees on my property and blocking trails. One of these was a standing dead ash tree, which fell due to the storm. Watch as I use my Husqvarna 460 Rancher chainsaw to cut ...

What happens if you push piston in without opening reservoir?
No pumping brakes?
I bought two of these. One failed within the 1 yr Vevor warranty and they replaced it. I can't find out what the maintenance kit is for this unit (the replacement piston cups, O rings and gaskets). Those wear out after prolonged use (24 hrs a day). The info that comes with the pump is minimal, that's my only complaint. It's just a picture with a few lines of text. No model number or maintenance kit info. The first one I bought lasted 2 years. Once the underwater diffusor and hose are in place, you don't need to replace those. The replacement pump alone was only $169 on sale. Probably won't find it that cheap again, but that's inflation. I'm happy with it other than the lack of instruction manual and model info for a maintenance kit. Also, you have to attach the wiring yourself which isn't that hard. I'm a grandma and I managed it.
Have you tried double blades on it yet? if so how does it cut with double blades
I haven’t used the double blades yet. If I do I’ll let you know. Thanks for watching!
@@TripleTAcres good video for sure I use a older bobcat with double blades one a contour and one straight per spindle cuts pretty good if you ask me but looking at getting the encore edge 60 they are cheaper then a bobcat and basically the same machine same motor and transmissions just haven't cut with one yet
Temo has it for less than two hundred bucks
did you notice the tractor running any warmer than usual was told the lane shark produces alot of heat and the return oil could shorten life of hydraulic pump....? have been told the best way to run it is with an external pump on the three point...
I did not notice it getting too hot. Lane Shark has designed a special return line that bypasses the valve. It’s called a C flow kit. It reduces the friction caused by running through the valve.
Use quick disconnects on your hose. Make up a pipe from cpvc to go into your barrels. Cut an angle on the bottom of the pipe going into the barrel so it doesn't make a suction, put a 90° elbow in the top end. Fit the top to another piece of short cpvc with a glue on adapter from half inch cpvc to a male hose thread. Put a quick disconnect on the hose thread. Store the cpvc pipe in a clean place between uses so you don't contaminate your water.
Great video on the brake but am I missing something? I got it to go into maintenance mode but the sequence to get it back into normal mode is not showing it engaged….only overheated. When do I take my foot off the accelerator? …a little lost.
Ok, now I can’t release the parking brake. The dash is telling to release parking brake. Followed to a tee. TIA.
So you are trying to get it back in normal mode? I’m not sure why you are getting an overheating light.
Beautiful weather and scenery. Enjoy !
Thanks Fuzz!
Nice
Very nice. Cover it with a dark sun blocking cover.
What about all the crap your blowing on the roof......
Might as well go for the bottom link too especially handy with the box scraper.
I'm thinking about that one next!
It might be an easy upgrade for you if you already have a 2 spool control valve.
Super cool additions, love the solar battery. This made me think of how cool it would be to have a heater hooked up to a solar generator and turn it on/off wireless to heat up the blind while on the way.
Heck yeah! Man that would be so cool!
I have a $175 tire upgrade for the edge. Its a great mower!
I really need to do that upgrade.
Looking great man !! Your all set !
Hey thanks buddy!
5:00 Who was kind of hoping he'd spray the dog. 😅
He would have loved it. 🤣
You would be better off Moving The aerator as close to the pond as possible Because the shorter the air hose the less restriction And the more air is delivered and the diaphragms will last much longer and the pump won't run as loud. All you have to do is run underground power. Less restriction on the hose side will keep the relief valve from Popping. Another suggestion is to make a larger filter box out of an old plastic coffee can, Stuff it with fiberglass insulation. It will breathe much easier.
Great points!
I have to hook mine up to gutter also, trying to dyi a defuser to filter out leaves the pvc are nice but for $60 crazy. Making a cedar one with screens should be just as great. Just have to figure it out and how to mount
I’m with you. I still haven’t tied it to my gutter yet.
Awesome and like the pump
Thanks! It’s been working great!
Good common sense video except for your choice of Chinese aerator. Good luck with that in the coming years. "Penny wise ,pound foolish".
Thanks for the info. I just picked up a box scraper for my older tractor and am realizing how a hydraulic top link will make it much easier. Mine does have a rear remote connection but the lever is below/behind my seat, but this gives me an idea how easy it can be. Well done.
Right on! Thanks for watching! You are going to wonder how you lived without it!
Nice to take a mid-day rut nap with plenty of room and warmth
For sure! I can’t wait for those all day sits.
What size is your pond? About a quarter acre?
I have a 1/2 acre pond.
In my opinion, you have the setup backward. I would put the pump as close to the water as possible. That way, you have less restriction from the air hose being shorter. It looks like you've got about 200+ ft of air hose. The pump will deliver more air with a shorter hose. The added benefit is that the pump doesn't have to work so hard, and the diaphragms will last much longer, and it won't run as hot. imho😊
Than you Sir for the Excelent vidio and commentary/ review of these "New-Improved & Snazzy" Tractors....just wondering "IF" they both have "Tilt-a-lateing" Stearing-Wheels? Best wishes with all your endeavours.
Question for you, could I run a shower off of this pump?
You definitely could.
Gosh dang the music what heck
I agree, I was a newbie. My apologies!
where did you get the pump?
Amazon. Here is the link to it. amzn.to/4a3AwsI
Thats slick 😎
Sickle bar mower is much more effective
Show how to put the rear brakes in service mode, electronic E brakes
I did that in the video.
clamp on debris forks will about double your scoop, but the real answer is a manure spreader
For sure! My buddy came over and had the debris clam on his bucket and it was a game changer. Excellent idea on the manure spreader!
Awesome job. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching!!
Reminds me of the old playgrounds at school , pretty cool idea !
Heck yeah! There’s a reason they use it. It’s great padding.
Hopefully u will make a update video on your food plots
Will do! Thanks for watching!
This helps me a lot . Thank you
Your welcome! Thanks for watching!
My shop is 40x50x14 and its not insulated. I just bought a 125k btu overhead heater and i have free gas that i can run non stop. Im hoping i can take the chill off but i may have to add another one.
I hope it works! I may be getting my shop spray foamed. If I get that done, my wood burner will run me out of the shop.
@@TripleTAcres I agree, I was quoted 6k to spray foam my shop. Might be worth it in the future
Biggest mumbai mansion
ive had pats quick hitch for a year and its works great, but im changing back to my quick hitch with the adapter just due not not having to put the washers and pins each time you change with the pats quick hitch.
I leave my washers and pins in all my implements. I never have to take them on and off. If you pick up some extras it will make your life much easier.
I have the 52”. I agree on all your points. Just wished there were more maintenance videos on it.
I agree. There isn’t much out there. I’ll try and put more maintenance videos on it. Thanks for watching!
Something important to consider, is that although a rotor may be smooth, it may be too thin to be reused. There is a minimum usable thickness for a rotor to be put back into service. Also, if one rotor is damaged, I would change them both. Your video was very clear, and was very helpful. Thank you for sharing.
Very great points! Thank you for your input. That is the whole point of my video, to help people. These comments are welcome and appreciated. Thanks for watching and your kind words!
that's $2000/mo in NYC.

We should try fishing without placing bait on hooks
??
Get a shallow well pump like .5 - .75hp to say a 40 gallon well pressure tank and you will have a normal water setup psi/flow. Also paint the tank so algae won't grow.
Can’t you just use the pressure washer since it has a pump to build the pressure and it would pull from the storage of water ?
Yep! as long as you have purged all the air out of the garden hose and it has a good prime.
Go super thin and dont plant to early on brassicas and yhey will be more attractive, and they require alot if nitrogen to get big. The deer should hammer them if there full of nutrition, i have heard if there stunted or yellowed down the deer don't like them as much
Right on brother. I planted them thin this year and if they come up, I plan on going back and putting some fertilizer on them to give them their best shot. Fingers crossed it works this year.
@@TripleTAcres good luck man, mine are 3 weeks old and rocking! I'm hitting them with 46-0-0 tomorrow, and we're getting rain for 3 days and I'm overseeding with rye/ wheat too! I'm in KY so the timing of rain for me on planting has been good this year thank goodness. We're still behind on rain but we're at least getting a little shower about every week! Wax your truck and it will rain! Lol
Sounds great pal! We are in a devastating drought. My plots look like the desert right now. 🤦🏻♂️😢
Yes Sir, TY 👍👍
Your welcome! Thanks for watching!
Thinking I now need one for my new Workmaster 25. The list keeps growing!! 😀
It has been a total game changer. I don’t know how I lived without it.
I have to fold down my ROPS to get in my garage. That top comes off in seconds!!
Another great vid..with great advice ! I agree..a little Jackery...or bluetti power station would be perfect for that lil shack. You could even get crazy and mount a solar panel on the roof. Awesome !
Thanks buddy! Great idea on the solar!
