South Hill Abandoned House Fire

Crews quickly extinguished this abandoned house fire at 128th Street E just west of Woodland Avenue on South Hill. 128th is CLOSED at 62d Ave E & Woodland in both directions. Please avoid the area. The Pierce County Fire Marshal will be investigating the cause. As always, Thank you, Pierce County Sheriff's Department, for your assistance!

Why do the fire engines and medic units go on EMS calls?
Not issued and not approved device. Firearms are an unusual piece of equipment that a firefighter uses. Embarrassingly this type of question is why we need to educate our children about and how to respect using firearms. Teach our children how to be respectful and compassionate. Obviously gun safety is a priority and a necessity.
I have the utmost respect for our firefighters and first responders. I would not likely be breathing if life saving measures weren’t taken.
Dog good. People bad. Don’t use innocent hearts against innocent souls.
I thought Fire Marshals were just guys who said you can't have a certain number of people in a room.

It really depends on the department and their certifications. Not all fire marshal offices are sworn peace officers in their jurisdiction.

Your medics sure have a lot to learn on how to treat patients. You have a long way to go! I suggest watching how medics in the UK treat their patients and maybe get an idea on how to do that. There's nothing worse during a medical emergency that you don't know if you will pull out of, to have medics show up and act like the patient isn't even a person.
