Nice setup man! looks like a great board! I use the zoom G1X Four and the B1X Four on my bass guitar board. This looks like a great setup without going too crazy and really covers all the bases. You've got me wanting to build an acoustic board now but I think I have that covered on my electric board with some Acoustic Guitar IR cabs in one of the pedals. Keep making videos. This is great. Nice flow and great explanation.

I tested this one, the latency was very low, but the algos were simplistic. All the modulation is done with linear interpolation, the spring reverb did not have the 4K divot that defines a spring reverb.

I've got something like this called an "iStomp" Same deal, it's old, it's discontinued, all the pedals on the app are free. The delays and the reverbs sound great. The pedals are still around, still pretty cheap too.

It should be fairly easy to make a box that sends the patch MIDI data to the DX using an Arduino, so you can have a standalone device to store all the patches.

Hell yea buddy. There is no greater satisfaction then repairing something by yourself and enjoying it. SO many of this vintage equipment is throw away today because everyone is afraid to try to fix it or they call a shop and they cant fathom the repair prices. I love the sounds both stock and on the sound mondo website + the keybed on the small keys is surprisingly playable

Nearly bought one, but for these very reasons and the fact it only has 3 octaves, no input for a breath controller, only 1 din midi port and no strap buttons, I decided to buy a secondhand Dx100. The Dx100 has 4 octaves, strap buttons for use as a keytar, midi in, out and thru, an input for a bc1 breath controller, will export patches as sysex to any librarian/sequencer that has sysex support, and has proper pitch end and modulation wheels. Add to this the fact there are a plethora of editors available even for iPad it makes far better sense. By the way I owned a dx100 back in the late 1980s and early 1990s and foolishly sold it. Oh and programming FM synths is not nearly as hard as most people think.
